I like to use glass. It's easy too clean, but if you use glue it's harder to get off the prints than flex plates. I use same heat settings 50-60° for PLA.
For anyone else having this problem, obviously you want to use a very high quality slice (.12 layer height) but set the first layer height to .28 or even .32 and 110% extrusion rate and you will get a nice sticky layer down squished nice and tight to the bed (use glue if on glass). You won't notice a single "chunky" layer but it will make for a strong adhesion

How big of one do you need for this would the ender work. I’m looking to purchase my first one
Ender will work fine.
Do we need silk PLA to make it look good?
You don't need to use silk PLA.
I have the same printer but all of my articulating dragons fail in a few segments on the bed. Any tips?
