I actually prefer the Parfum as it has more depth. It just smells a little more special and refined.

I have a bottle of the EDP from back in 2013 and love it. The only thing I don't love about it is that's is half-empty and I'm gonna have to replace it sometime. Yep, it sounds like a cash grab, but it's nice to know I can pickup a bottle of the Parfum should the current EDP not perform very well. Enjoyed the comparison video. Cheers.

I preferred the EDP.. smelled more heavy & earthy … parfum was trying too be too loud for no reason & airy EPT is the way too go & much cheaper .

On my skin the Parfum is sweeter and the saffron really shines. My wife always comments very positively on the parfum but never on the Edp.

i tested it for the first time today... i tried the edp.. its just awesome... it reminds me of a longer lasting and stronger 4711 LOL

I had a similar experience. Bought it and return it. It did smell different to me tho, I noticed the saffron and I enjoyed that change but it wasn't worth it because it lacked the citrus & aromatic complexities of the top in the EDP. Plus for whatever reason it lasted 45 minutes on my skin, maybe they added a lot of ambroxan and I went anosmic to it, in any casi I will stick to the EDP.

100% agree, word-for-word. Just got my samples this week. Parfum = cash grab, extremely similar, not quite as good sillage or duration. Love your reviews & spot-on for accuracy and integrity.

nice video quality, daver. I know your videos since the begining together when you two "Bros" had a lot of fun on testing fragrances. Nice that you keep going. But I don't share your opinion to the Parfum version of grey vetiver... it is stronger Or as strong, but deeper and way darker, more linear than the other versions. It has that dark vibe of black orchid in the background. not sure if the batches are different that sometimes the impressions are so different.

I've had the EDP for a couple years. Tested both side by side at Nordstroms. Definitely preferred the ETP

Get the EDP... but DO NOT get the EDT. I've had both, the EDT doesn't even compare. The EDP is stunning, commands respect, like boss-in-a-bottle stuff. Have not tried the Parfum.

I hate when there are so many version of a fragrance, especially if you don't know them and interested in buying. It's just so much hassle to sample all of them.

don’t know if you’re still wanting it. but for a blind buy the edp is safe i’d say. very versatile and i love it. i personally like the parfum a little better as it has more depth. but both are amazing.
