Hey Ben wanted to go ahead and Ty for not shoving a thousand sponsors in the videos and being a complete sell out like a lot of other people who talk about this stuff ❤
Hey Ben, I'm from Brazil and I'm going to use what I've learned from your videos to try to get ahead here and maybe even find a job overseas one day. Thanks a lot, man!
How do I develop skills related to Splunk, Burp Suite, and SIEM tools? And how do I portray them on a resume? Is it projects? I feel like projects can be an oversight to some recruiters sometimes
I am currently an AA student planning to go for a Bachelors in IT (CS concentration). I am working with a professor and a few students to start a club surrounding our CS competition team, to help teach others CS and also make more CS comp teams. I am excited for it, but also nervous because I lack knowledge in CS & IT terminology. How do I go about educating myself?
Hi, I've been deciding between PJPT (by TCM) and eJPT (by INE). Which do you recommend? I already have the PWPP (Practical web pentest professional) certification voucher from TCM, and am looking to choose one of those certifications to bridge the gap before I start on the PWPP course material. Which do you think would be better to take?
Im 42 years old. im going back to the school 2-year program part-time the program includes. IT , fiber optics, and cyber security im staring from 0 how challenging you think it will be?
I’m 20 and wanting to get into it as well with no real prior knowledge, from the extensive research I’ve done it doesn’t seem too difficult it’s just very demanding but if you have a fact holding brain and you’re good at math I think you’ll be good especially if it’s a real course and not learning on your own
It’s never too late to start. You’ll be fine as long as you stay focused and disciplined. Definitely try and get certs and build projects while you go through school.
Thanks for the video Mann good starting keys! I’m looking to start my classes in a few months I’m ready!👌🏾

What should I start with? Network + or security +?

Splunk offers some of their own certifications, and yes those skills can be displayed through projects

I personally would go with the PJPT

@superrichkid Yes, plus it's an associate degree ill be acquiring at the end of the 2 years, and it involves not just cyber security
