BeaverCraft makes some great affordable bushcraft carving tools, hatchets, and knives. below is a link that will help support my channel if you use it to buy either one of these products. Thanks for watching guys, and like always stay safe and stay heavy!

Yeah I have the BSH4 looking at the Ax1. Knife is great. Sharpens up very sharp. Just a strop. Don't mind if it doesn't hold an edge if it sharpens up easy. Walnut scales are beautiful. They're cheaper as they don't put much into the cosmetics. All into functionality. I love mine.

Beavercraft makes great low cost knives. I have some of their carving knives and they're great. Them, and BPS both use that 1066 carbon steel. It's pretty tough stuff. Won't hold it's edge for all that long, but it's easy to sharpen, and responds well to a strop. I have a few BPS bushcraft knives, but so far only carvers from Beavercraft. I have been eying up the hatchet for awhile now, and I like the look of that knife you're using in this video. May have to pick up both.

Have a beavercraft bsh3 nightfall and compared to my bps knives it's just used for the camp kitchen. The sheath is very poor, if you have a razor sharp blade on your belt you need a solid sheath and 2mm is not enough. They make great carving knives so they really should stop at that
