    Andy Wang retired from MMA and started his own army, he’s the general, the Sargent in arms, a corporal, the fighter jet pilot, the doctor and every occupation in between. A true warrior 😤

    I served as an attachment to Brian Stann's platoon a couple times in Iraq and he is legitimately Captain America. A rare officer that is respected by the enlisted and led from the front.

      Athletic Commission to oversee them, Shanghai for example does
      UFC get to appoint their own refs and judges. In America, The State Commission appoints both the ref and the judges, and UFC doesn't really have a place to disagree with them or try to change their tactics

    I remember William Hung. He was in my "Intro to Matlab" class in 2003 at UC Berkeley. Never spoke to him, but he was in my lab. He became a legend at school, especially in the engineering department, for both appreciative and congratulatory reasons, and jealous reasons.
    But yes, I remember William Hung 😁

      It wasn’t the fact that he challenged him, it was him hitting Dana up the next day claiming they could not use the footage of him and serra, claiming that a video of him losing would bring shame to his BJJ coaches. Makes no sense though as he would have had no problem with the video going up if he had won. He deserved to be fired for being such a wimp

    Hey, just a tip for the future when talking about medals for valor, you don't "win" them, you earn them.
    Valor medals are typically earned on someone's worst day, or under very dangerous or risky situations.
    Silver Star Medals are often awarded posthumously, much like a Medal of Honor.

    Brian Stann was one of my favorite fighters in the WEC, one of my favorite commentators, and just seemed like an all around good guy. All American. HOFer in my book. It’s sad he just left. Hope he comes back to the commentary team one day

    I ran some background on that Bjorn Rebney soccer game.
    Mexico lost 2-1 against Netherlands, so he definitely wasnt cheering that they had won.
    The start time for that game was noon ET, 9:00am PT.
    If the graphic of this tweet is a direct screen shot and he did indeed post this in support of Mexico when the game started, he would have had to have posted this tweet from Isreal or central europe, somewhere in that time zone.

    Brian Stann was one of the very best MMA commentators not just for the UFC but in all of MMA as well. He also worked for One Championship but it isn't clear why he left!!!

    Guys like Brian Stann are smart. They fought, had a non-fighter role and then he invested into a side business. He doesn't do celebrity boxing or whatever else to make him look silly.
