As somebody on the autism spectrum, I say Amen to that. There are no quick, easy fixes on bad days. It's the same thing I encounter with my multiple sclerosis... People cannot see it, so they make assumptions. Many are well-meaning, but misguided.
No stash shaming.... I learned with coloring books and pencils that to much can cause burnout. Feeling obligated to do pages, and not enough time in my life to do them. I flipped to diamond painting and found it's nice not having to make any decisions. Put drill on designated spot. Done. So with lessons learned, I'm keeping my stash at 1 years worth. I thought I did 12 in a year, recount showed 8, on 9. So, with that, I have 9 for 2025. I'm gonna chill on the spending now. I hear a lot of feedback that a lot of diamond painters are pulling back. All good. I'm also concerned with the isolation that diamond painting can bring on. I'm super selfish with my time. I need to reach out to people more, but dang, I love being alone. 💜💜💜💎🎨👩🦳
