Can you speak more on this? Why is this conflicting for you? I don't know what's going on, other than what another comment said about LDS being a Mormon missionary thing.
@@GTXDash I'd assume the same, but I wouldn't say "him just not believing anymore" is simple. A change in belief signifies probably one of the most important moments in an individual's life. But we're still assuming...
@@moritzkorsch9029 let me shed light into this. A mission is indeed a missionary service, it's a volunteer work you do for either two years if you're a man or 1,5 year if you're a woman. I went on oneand it was very tough but taught me a lot. I was a believer until an awful marriage made me rethink things and I divorced 13 years ago. I don't miss the church, the rules, the constant feel of being inadequate and that you're not going to heaven. For those wondering, I consider myself an agnostic, almost atheist, but not hedonist. The conflict is because it wasn't good for *me* so I don't advise people go for it, but on the other hand it does wonders for others. The church and it's members do a lot of good.
@@cecilmonk thank you very much, mate. Quite an interesting story, especially after you said the mission was good but you still are conflicted about others going on missions!
I am sure you can use those two years to get a clear view of what you really want for your channel, even though you cannot upload anything. You can think about what you want to do and even if you do not return to content creation, you will have put the time into a meaningful choice that will lead you on a good path, no matter in which direction. I hope you have some great experiences and take time to reflect them, no matter your spirituality.
you are that one guy, who got me into arena fps, so for now I started to learn c++ and vulcan to make a community arena fps, if there wont be any devlog on my channel when you comeback im gay procrastinatorr
He's serving as a preaching missionary to teach and spread the gospel. Sometimes, missionaries go door to door, but that's only if they don't have people to teach, and so they have to find people whom are willing to listen. It's a full-time service. So, definitely won't have time for work on the side like maintaining a youtube channel.
leave them here. Even If you find a career and don't do this for a decade, once you realize you had a youtube channel, you and see this treasure, and maybe would make it better, if you want.
My girlfriend served a mission in South America, and it was the best decision she's ever made. Even people who have left the church don't regret serving a mission. Hope you have a good time! And always remember to take it easy on yourself, you've got this!

As a former mormon I have mixed feelings.
You'll be missed!

@moritzkorsch9029 I think it's simply that he no longer believes, so he probably sees this as a waste of 2 years.

Why waste your time trying to convince others to worship a false idol? You seemed farore intelligent than that.

Hey, idk when you are going to see this but Jesus loves you.
Christian... "Spits".
