Anyone wanting to run an inferno class should go for the inferno ending on your first play through (not cleansing any beacons) with a different build and you unlock the lord starter class it's an I ferno class and you get great starter gear and few late game spells. Plus the lord armor set is cool looking. If you really wanna make it fun get a friend to drop you 2 grinding axes...
Ah yes; my element. Fire to cleanse the sinners. There's also an early curved sword for inferno users JUST before the Pieta boss; in a molten lava pit by the mobs fighting each other. Its a nice alternate option to the big stick they start you out with.
@@leton7565 it does have fire; but its pretty much a place-holder weapon until you can grab the bloodlust or any other better fire weapon that sports higher scaling or status.

Mine didn't do this. Did the steps and gave her the thingy. Rested and came back. The bars still there but she gone and in the place she teleport to. And she still just mumbles.
She appears in the arena of the giant boss (A litteral giant) you fight and after that she will move near one of the beacons which is mid/late game. Obviously you need to progress her personal story for her to move to these spots which you can find info on the wiki for.
Hey, I was thinking the same, however after you progress a while, the guy who is selling the key left the skybridge and leave the key at behind corridor so you can take it for free
I hope they give us a catalyst that has more than 3 spell slots earlier in the game for inferno builds someday. At least you can swap spells and keep whatever spell buffs on.. wish there was a macro option on ps5.. wint lie i am getting faster at the swap, but its stressfull doing it during a boss fight.
So you can equip the second weapon next to your catalyst along with your main weapon then all you have to do is swap stances which is Y on Xbox or TAB on Pc
so I’ve been playing as the preacher class with the radiance and hadn’t really known why there was an option to rank up the inferno attribute but I guess this is why? cause honestly I’m not that much of a souls player so when I picked the preacher I thought I was gonna be doing those cool looking fire spells instead of holy magic but cool to know you can find fire catalyst

There's mana stones that recover mana and outside of that if you run out of mana you're just screwed. One thing I always hate on games is when mages get gimped that way. Like a melee fighter can just keep going. They take a small break and get their stamina back. Rangers get *tons* of ammo pouches and their ammo generally seems to do a whole lot more damage. Mages (all 3 types) get a lot of versatility in spells but if we run out of mana we're just nothing really. At least on this game though there are a lot of good weapons that scale off of inferno or radiance or both, but being a "pure mage" just doesn't typically work out in any souls-like until you get like 1/4 of the way through at least.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to get Adyr’s rage after lighting the first beacon? I missed it the first time, and now im unable to locate the merchant that sells it :(
So i have a question for anyone who knows. So i gave the inferno catyalist to the prisoner but i wanted to keep it for myself is there any way i can get that back or is there one later on that is much better to use
Whenever I get to the first big boss. The petria chick. My RB buttons stops working. Even if I go to controller testing it doesn’t work. When I shut down and restart it works again. Until I get to that boss. Am I doing something wrong???!!!
If you can't get the stronger fire spells until after the boss, are you able to ignite you weapons before then? I don't remember you doing that in the Pro N Noob video.
I have a question in regards to resetting a character is it only once per playthrough or can you buy it an infinite amount of times from the umbral mage guy?
From the vids I've seen the game sells one for sure, and I think perhaps one or two more, not 100%. But they said that the item is a very rare world drop. Dude said he completed a playthrough and never had one drop, while others got one or two.

If you're on PC, turn off steam cloud saves and copy your save file in local appdata. Then respec to your heart's content and since you'll always have that save prior to respeccing you can go crazy

I can’t confirm this so you might be able too but once you cleanse the area supposedly she despawns from there but not sure
