This was extremely helpful. These few tweaks got my site from a 78% to 82% Performance and 0.03 CLS. I do have a question though, what can one do to help a WIX mobile site perform faster. My analytics show about 70% of my customers use their mobiles, currently I can't seem to get it over 50-odd%
Informative video. A question about pages though. Blog often includes large number of posts, which keeps on increasing with each new post. Should blogs be a part of the site? Will it affect site speed?
All your blog post don't load at once, within the Blog settings inside the Wix Editor you'll notice you can control how many blog posts display at one time :)

Remove 3rd party elements, code snippets and if you have an online store make sure your product pages only have 4 images max per product. You can also look at re building old layouts 😇
Hey great question, go to your wix website dashboard, left hand side - click settings, scroll down to custom code, top right hand corner click on add custom code. Add code and make sure when the pop up comes up click the tab "Code Type" and select Marketing. Hope this helps :)
The easiest way to do this also would be to go to your dashboard, under Marketing and SEO, Click Marketing Integrations and just click Facebook Pixel :)

They all need to load first so that the code is ready to track user actions. And now with Facebook conversion API Facebook needs this code installed (as it is server side tracking) so that it can send 1st party user data back to Facebook to bypass the 3rd party browser issue affecting those that opted out of being tracked with the iOS14 update. All your other tips to speed up a Wix website make sense, but I don’t understand why anyone would remove important/crucial code related to digital marketing so they can grow/scale their business online. Even with the steps you suggested to me, that will automatically generate and place code into the header of the website?
Hey great question - Yes you'll need to use the code they provide to track it within your advertising platform (for example Facebook Ad manager) - You'll need to address your website speed will adding less elements and pages and following some steps here.

how to load images fast... i have used images less than 500kb but still its loading slow... should i use CDNs.. or does wix support an internal CDN.. kind of plugin?
Start with changing your images to webp and remove unnecessary pages. Remove page animations also. Keep 3rd party plugin /widgets to a min or none hope this helps 😇

Thats a sad essence. More performance, less pages and content. Whats then all the dynamic pages and CMS craze for? If we need to make the website like a namecard in order for it to be fast its really strange. I need hundreds of pages.
This video is for users who are not using Dynamic pages. I'd recommend Dynamic pages but created this video for users who are currently not using them and don't want to restructure their entire wix website 😭📚🙌😇

It’s a shame I’m sitting at 90+ pages. I operate a pretty big website. Hope my Wix site gets more speedy with wix’s improved system.
Websites that have 90+ pages are built on dynamic pages. I'd recommend you go that route. Best of luck 😀

Use the wix translation app it's a better user experience - the more pages you have the slower the website in general

You may have underlining development issues, the way you put together your styling may have an Effect
Wix is fine for desktop, but you cant really optimize much for mobile because of pre-code.
