So after listening to this a couple times (and reading Forbidden Scrollery) I started noticing that you most likely snuck in some references to the old Night Parade scroll that Mamizou is so very interested in.
“It will only last til the dawn of the sun” - The original legend said that the parade would last until sunrise.
“Let your inner demons lose, on a grand parade!” - This one is pretty obvious...

Personally I think this is one of you best. Really nice to see and hear how enthusiastic you are when making these.

As a LARPer, this song resonates so, so much with me. With the high quality of every single Touhou Lyrics of yours, it's hard to pick a song that would be above all others, but this one is with no doubt among my favorites.
The lyrics are beautifully put together, and the energy in your voice when singing this is captivating. Absolutely my favourite song of yours.

I mean, Ran is a Kitsune, Kitsune's are Magic foxes in Japanese Folklore, while Mamizou is a Racoon, a Tanuki to be exacts, but it seems that they are clashing and they naturally hate eachother

Oh how I've been waiting for mobile access to this song~ I remember when I 1st saw the lyrics I had hoped it would be in the style of Futatsuiwa from Gensokyo... but actually hearing it has not only altered my mind from those wishes, but I've grown to prefer the original over HM as well! God this song is so fun I wanna listen to it every ay of my life. My list of favorites changes with every new release I swear, wonderful work as always!

MrCheeseGaming Yes, it was intentional~. It's because Animal Crossing stars a tanuki character, the same species this song is celebrating. I would've liked to reference other fictional tanuki, but I don't know many, heheh.
(Anyway, but it's also justified to ignore those references, since Mamizou literally wears a leaf on her head, making "turning over a new leaf" a generally relevant idiom, and she literally does cross into Gensokyo, a "wild world beyond belief"~.)
Lyrica Live Kind of a pity you didn't know about Pocky and Rocky (Japanese title: 奇々怪界, KiKi KaiKai, Mysterious Ghost World) in that case. Would've been a very appropriate reference considering that Pocky (or Sayo-chan, as she's called in Japan) is a shrine maiden and Rocky (or Manuke as the Japanese call him) is a tanuki, many of the enemies they fight are youkai and the game even had "Bomb" attacks...
The reference aside, Pocky and Rocky, as well as its sequel, are also pretty good games; I'd warmly recommend downloading them for a SNES emulator and giving 'em a go on some lazy day.

@Rosephantom945/ Knight of space Well, right now no. In Touhoucon 2015 they decided they would pay for everyone's hotel's but they didn't have the budget, so they shut down. (I don't know if it is true, but someone who went to Touhoucon said that.)

Rocky the Raccoon is, to some extent, a tanuki himself. However, his transformations are limited to becoming hard as stone. I am certain this girl could help him widen his range of powers beyond becoming a statue and calling upon other tanuki to carry him.
Eyy, still going through yer works~ Mamizou calls to my feelings of my wife in a lot of ways and I think you captured this part of her well, in the lyrics and the bright side of her imposter syndrome and ability to mirror others.
It is only one aspect of a complex whole, but it's very important and a part of her that she conflicts with. ANYWAY, another great one~ Honestly, I love everything in this channel, but I want to really comment on the stuff that hits home when I think of something to say. I'm not really into Animal Crossing, but I remember there was a game called Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Yes, yes.~ I didn't want the reference to dramatically stand out (it still makes sense out of context), but it was an intentional nudge, because the most iconic character from the Animal Crossing series is a tanuki. I'd presume that it's where a lot of western fans first learned about the species.
