    Good review, the audio didn't detract from it, in fact the voice over was very good and you didn't need to do picture in picture really. Sometimes voice over works better than fighting the wind noise.

      Thanks mate. Good to know. Hopefully it won’t happen again as I use a tascam to record back up audio now 🤦🏻😁

    This would be my choice in the range and it looks really cool in white. A while ago I spent time on a GT Pro demo and very nearly signed on the dotted line 🤔 I couldn’t fault it and the build quality is spot on. Thanks Matt another real life informative review.

    I’ve always been put off Triumph & Ducati as they both had rather high servicing costs. However, a friend of mine has recently bought a new MultiStrada and the servicing intervals are amazing, something like 2 years for oil change and 36,000 miles for valve check, that’s a game changer from my perspective. I wonder if Triumph will follow suit, it would be a good opportunity for them to get ahead of BMW/GS.

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah Ducati have upped their game in servicing intervals. I love the new multistrada, it’s a fantastic bike.

    Very nice video, makes me consider trying out the explorer because for now I'm aiming for a GT PRO, mostly because it's a touch lighter.

      Glad you enjoyed the video mate. Nothing wrong with testing out a few different bikes to fine tune your decision making 😁🤙

    I really enjoyed your video. I'm from Houston Texas in the US and have been watching a lot of different videos on the 900 and 1200 models. I will test drive them soon I hope. I also can't decide which model and size to get. Most of my riding will be on the pavement but I will be doing some off road because I do have some motocross experience except not on a heavy bike. I also like the BMW 900 and the new 1300 GS but will have do ride them as well. Thanks

      Hay there, glad you enjoyed the video. Ive reviewed the 900 and also GS1300 if you're interested. Depends how hard your off road riding will be, ive got a BMW GSA 1250 big heavy bike, but still take it off road when I can. Just get in the gym and do some weighted squats :)

    Nice vide, and you covered the voice over like a pro. I ride a 2016 Tiger Explorer XRT, and I really love it. Would consider an upgrade but the seat height is just too tall. My bike has run perfectly for the 30,000 miles that I’ve owned it. Triumph really do make premium bikes, and I started on my first bike in 1968 with a 650 Bonneville then a 1970 Trident 750. Cheers from snowy Wisconsin.

    • @DukeJohnny
      @DukeJohnny 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What is the seat height on that Explorer XRT? The standard seat on 1200 is 850mm on low setting and you can get a lowered seat as well, so I'm curious.

    • @jmulroy1
      @jmulroy1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DukeJohnny I installed the Triumph lower seat which I believe is 820mm. Very comfortable for touring.

      @DukeJohnny 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jmulroy1 nice! Good to know because my current bike is exactly 820mm (it's a Suzuki GSX-S750) which I'm super comfortably flat footing and I was hoping for the same with Tiger, need to test ride it eventually. Is the lowered seat still comfortable in your opinion?

    • @jmulroy1
      @jmulroy1 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DukeJohnny Yes the lowered seat is comfortable and I’ve ridden almost all of the 30,000 miles on the bike with the lowered seat. Hope it helps!

    Do you prefer this model or the rally explorer model? I can't decide which one I would prefer to buy. Thanks 👌

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Both great bikes. Obvious question would be are you doing any off road? If yes go for the rally. If no then go for the GT Pro 😁.

    one of the best review video channels out there fella. separate review does work mate. looking forward to you're trips. Camping???
    question please. loved my ktm GT. Had 2, but have crashed it. I was getting daft and the roads in the uk are not up to a GT in my opinion. My replacement bike was going to be a new ktm adventure, or a 2013 1200 multistrada. Pre electronics, as I'm a bit done with limp mode and reliability issues. can't decide.
    I ride far, quick and alone. Would the this triumph be worth a look? I had a 1050 tiger, but it wallowed in the bends. Will this GT bat along all day? I like the looks and the big fuel tank. Never even considered it until I saw this video . The blind spot detection is brilliant.

      Honestly mate this comment has made my day. So this week ive filmed a camping trip video and a day tour around Brecon video. Just got to find time to edit and release them now. Trying to get in as many review bikes before the cold weather comes and puts a stop to riding :).
      This GT isn't slow for sure, so that covers the quick side, enough mileage to take you further than you intended on going and this thank handles extremely well so it would be good fun in the twisty sections for sure. Sounds like you've got a test ride to get booked :)

      It is an upgrade in 2024 models. Since it is only a software update, it could be installed for the 2022-2023 models if the manufacturer allows without violating the warranty.
