Lumen is a fully dynamic global illumination solution that enables you to create believable scenes where indirect lighting adapts on the fly to changes to direct lighting or geometry-for example, changing the sun’s angle with the time of day, turning on a flashlight, or opening an exterior door. With Lumen, you no longer have to author lightmap UVs, wait for lightmaps to bake, or place reflection captures; you can simply create and edit lights inside the Unreal Editor and see the same final lighting your players will see when the game or experience is run on the target platform. Not to be outdone, UE5’s new virtualized micropolygon geometry system, Nanite, gives you the ability to create games and experiences with massive amounts of geometric detail. Directly import film-quality source art comprised of millions of polygons-anything from ZBrush sculpts to photogrammetry scans-and place them millions of times, all while maintaining a real-time frame rate, and without any noticeable loss of fidelity.

i really hope what i read about a console version is true! i started with photography in janary 2022 ( with a panasonic lumix DMC- G5 ), still learning, i feel this is the perfect video game for me :) keep up the great work! this looks amazing :)

Awesome job, Matt! I love hiking, and even though I don't technically consider myself a photographer, I love a good shot. That paired with the fact that this game probably has the best graphics of any game coming to console that I have seen (surpassing the other UE5 titles) makes this a game that I will definitely consider picking up upon release.

I love your work! I bought your Wakamarina Valley and will buy Lushfoil as soon as it's out! Seeing all the amazing shots in this video.. I wish I could experience them all.. even if there is not much "game" involved.. that's fine! I just want to start at the amazing scenery! You had unreal 5 level graphics before anyone couldve imagined it. Now all games look like this and it makes me sad that what you once were doing isnt as impressive, but I still love everything.

I just came across this project while skipping through games on my steamdeck. It's exactly what I am looking for and I wonder when it will be releasing?
I appreciate it may not work on steam deck and will happily play on PC.
we're aiming to pass the compatibility check on steam deck 💪 desktop is definitley superior though
I have a 4080. I just meant I found it when I was looking through games on steam deck. I find the resolution on the Steam deck is too low for a beautiful program like this.
