Today I became an RN. Was the most hardest thing I have ever done in life especially at my age..Nursing school was equally exhausting and very difficult for me trying to remember and learn during covid-19..I was always the last one in class taking exams, the last one completing HESI benchmarks ( was a nightmare as I would have to take each 3 or 4 times to get past 850) and I was the last one to graduate.. If this sounds like you and you are feeling discouraged, please take a deep breath and GIVE YOURSELF GRACE. It's OK to be the last one in class and it's OK to take HESI benchmarks 50 thousand times( LOL) and it's OK to read and re- read and read some more.. The one thing I did was kept my grades to myself and If I barely passed, I applauded myself..👏👏👏👏 ..I never looked to be an " A" student, I was just proud enough to have accomplished a goal.. But the biggest thing is Always give yourself Grace and go at your own speed.
To prepare for NCLEX, I used UWorld ( I would range at about 55-60% in scoring, DID 75 QUESTIONS A DAY) I also used this amazing instructor I met on youtube called nurses guide that's Professor W ( HE IS AMAZING) his contact +19143619057, he gave me study materials and if I had difficulties I would call to talk to him in the car, on the way to work, at the store etc...and I also used a wonderful program called Nursing.com. This program would literally have an instructor explain every disease process and had courses like Medsurg, OB, Pedi, Mental health etc.. and fundamentals of Nursing procedures, just as if you were in nursing school.
The day I took NCLEX, I ran out of time at 123 questions and of course, I was the last one testing... DO NOT STRESS IF YOU GO PAST 75 QUESTIONS ON NCLEX... Take your time and answer the questions to the best of your ability...
I passed...Please, don't give up, don't get discouraged, take your time and don't worry about the next student. You do you! Your time will come when it's your time..and most of all GIVE YOURSELF GRACE... You got this, trust me...
    Peace and blessings 🙌

I started my absn jan 25 and it is a struggle for me. The material is not hard but there is no time to actually study the material. Doing good on an exam is all about luck! I have patho and pharm exams on the same day which is insane. And I have 2 days to study for BOTH exams/quizzes. It’s literally not possible and I’m starting to rethink this whole thing. It’s not only me, my entire cohort feels this way. Idk what to do at this point I am sick over it.

    I failed a 2nd time 3 days ago.
Every question I got right, Went nect to select all that apply. If I missed it, right back to multiple choice. In Florida you only get 3 chances.
If you fail the 3rd, then back to college for 2 months but only certain ones - and the closest is 500 miles away. I can’t loose everything I owned. I worked full time and went to nursing school full time. I still wake up anxiety thinking something is due. I started listening to all the Mark Klimeck and got 3 down so far. I will listen to them again. Doing 150 questions in eWorld a day. Simply nursing helps. I remember all the questions I know I got wrong.
Anyway, I’ll try again in 45 days.
    If I fail.
That’s it. I’m not going back to school Full time ever again not going through that ever again. Knowing what hell it was, I would not have done it. So much time and money wasted. But I will never go back full time. And I won’t loose my home over a test. It’s Just not worth it. I’ll give it 45 days. If I fail, all this nursing stuff goes in the backyard, and I’m setting it on fire.

took my PN EXAM April 12,2022. I Pass WITH 109 questions. Don’t be scared. Be positive and if you are a believer just leave everything in God hands after your studies, Don’t lean to your own understanding you will fail. The importance is to pass and not the numbers of questions. I used UWORD and Mark klimek only to study. When I finished my exam my spirit was calm and I had that inside peace. You should have a plan for study and time to relax. NCLEX is just straight forward. Proverbs 3:5.
    April 13,2022 UPDATE!!!!!
I went to Virginia board of nursing and I PASS. So since yesterday I didn’t check or use the trick for checking result. I just have faith by posting without knowing my result and trust GOD IN THE PROCESS. Glory to him.🙏🙏
