I discover the channel and I have binge watched almost all videos. I retained 3 things : - It's for my mum - Where is middle C ? - Do you know Boogie Woogie ?
That is the problem with people always in a rush like that.....they don't recognize the moment when it is right in front of them..... the daughter, however, has yet to become jaded lol
Brendan- Thank You for caring and sharing with with the younger generation! I think it's great! I can't play the radio let alone the piano so I say Thank You from Florida!
Brendan is such a sweet guy and his videos are full of positive energy. Thank you Brendan and thank all the musicians for making our lives more beautiful.
@Q Cunno @Q Cunno but it probably causes some serious discomfort on their way to maybe even a costly family flight.. must say this one wasn't really a nice move of yours at the end Brendan, and a bit cringy to watch because of that..sadly, because your rendition, play and the interaction during the duet were awesome. I mean, music befor everything but you Do ' 'use' ' them (in a way we all would want to be used haha, but still, ) for your vids (and our entertainment).
One day Brendan's mum told him : hey do you know Boogie Woogie Few years later Brendan ask the same question in every train station.... Keep going, this will spread to future generations
This, along with your other recitals, is just brilliant. Such joy. I shall make a point when next in London (when we return to the office from WFH) to come and listen in person.
I tried taking piano lesson as a kid but I got turned down because all I had was an electronic keyboard and not a real piano. I started guitar lessons but then the winter set in with a fierce ice storm. I can play somewhat. My daughter, only child, thinks I wrote Sweet Child O Mine because I was playing it - loud. And also a band manager. I love you take the time to share your skills! Mr. Sharp, our middle school music teacher denied me further training because I was too poor to own a piano. I love the piano more than the guitar. I love cats more than people. I enjoy watching your kindness and methods of teaching. I used to teach computer science. I love watching their eyes widen with knowledge! I'm old now. Memory going, thank god! Oh! And I did share your videos with my Home Heath Aid client. So, I shared the smile you gave me! Hope you're doing well! HUGS! The old Guy
This musical theme is "Passacaglia", from Handel, but it is at the same time the name of a type of Spanish music, with similar characteristics, called "pasacalle" (passing by streets). That´s because it was performed on streets about 500 years ago, in Spain.

Watching Brendan's videos is seriously interfering with my own responsibilities, but I can't stop LOL As the girl ran away it sounded like she was saying "text me"
That's a fantastic song.. Don't know how I know it, but I have heard it somewhere. Maybe someone played it in a movie?? Love the connection here. Music brings people together like nothing else.
She has adoration in here eyes....Brendan old chap you've pulled! :) Geezer with the brass instrument case watching should of got it out and joined in!

Said no boogie woogie ever
Then you’re on the right path.
*not necessarily in that order lol
are you Terry?
When she wanted the name of the song at the end in a hurry EVEN I FELT anxious!
Yes, I was starting to get nervous about the train leaving and her getting separated from her mum.
Such a shame she had to leave, she was clearly enjoying it a lot and would've loved to stay longer.

Well, missing your train, and then your plane would suck.
Whenever I see someone in a rush I promise myself to never be that person, I rather be two hours early for something and wait if needed.
@afr malatesta yes I know...but she looks content to keep playing the piano and catch the next train......

The girl mastered Händel, but the mother couldn't handle her daughter.
Kudos to the girl for that

Love it that she knows neither the composer nor the name of the piece. That's love of music.
The beauty of Handel’s music as played with the impressive skills of this man can even captivate the young of today. The genius of Handel is ageless.
Yes i like to play on Guitar too, it sounds so Harmonic, like the beauty of God's Great Love
Young lady is having fun..the whole world need fun..thank both of you
There will always be another train, but not another Brendan or his Mum.
That girl would happily have missed her train back to Germany to continue playing with the boogie woogie maestro.
How not to stay a little longer to listen to the best pianist in London! God bless you Brendan.
............yes, yes, yes.........he’s the best!

I love all classical but I swear this may be my favorite piece. So beautiful and he just plays it brilliantly!
The way she press the phone on her heart is wat music can do. It brings hearts together

Agree
Beautiful! Just beautiful! She didn't want to leave! God bless!

@Q Cunno this piano is near Eurostar gates , if you miss your train it’s like missing your flight. You can’t board on the next one for free
@Q Cunno I’m with you here... it’ll make a good story to the ticketing clerk: “See what had happened was......”😁
not sure she cared she was loving it
and I bet she is glad. who would you miss a train for everyone? I would miss several trains to see our Brendan, esp if he was with Terry miles.
Dr K, everytime you play Handel's Passacaglia, the world becomes a better place
Once in a lifetime moment, her mum had no idea. That would be the best moment of my life for sure.
She did not want to leave. Handel’s music from so long ago had captured this girl and mom wasn’t going to get her to leave.
This is so beautiful..I have no words ♥️
One day Brendan's mum told him : hey do you know Boogie Woogie
Few years later Brendan ask the same question in every train station....

Oh heck, I ask this in my hospital meetings. 😁👍
Girl: "Are you a professional?"
Brendan: "Nah, I'm doin' it for me mum"
