This is actually the best approach. To put yourself in somebody else's shoes or to be empathetic. I love the way Dr. K makes everyone feel at ease with himself and the piano. I have been making music my whole life but I will always be a beginner at everything. It is about the mind set. You learn most whilst being a beginner. As soon as you consider yourself a pro you are actually damaging your own progress.
The anticipation in waiting to hear you break into your awesome rendition of the song is always such a treat!
