Evan Mock in conversation with Tony Hawk for ODDA Korea 2

Hawaiian-born #EvanMock is living his best life. The twenty-four-year-old was homeschooled on the North Shore of Oahu and when he wasn’t studying, he spent his days on a board, surfing, or skateboarding. Evan was making a name for himself on the skateboarding circuit when a video of him was sent to the musician Frank Ocean, who was also sporting pink hair at the time. The singer/songwriter reposted it and Evan’s life changed in the blink of an eye. He found himself modeling for Calvin Klein, Paco Rabanne and Louis Vuitton, which ended up using mannequins modeled after Evan’s likeness in their stores worldwide. He also became the official photographer for Travis Scott on the European leg of his Astro World tour and now he has a lead role in the new “Gossip Girl” reboot for HBO Max.
But Evan is a skater boy at heart, so who better to discuss with him his meteoric rise to fame than one of the most famous skaters of all time, Tony Hawk. In their conversation, the two men discuss their favorite skateparks, Evan’s role on “Gossip Girl”, and what this transformative time has been like for the budding superstar.
