I swear, pudding keycaps are amazing, it makes it look like the keycaps are floating when you have a keyboard with powerful rgb like a Ducky One2 Mini.

These keycaps will work with all switches with the cherry MX style switch stems or MX switch clones. (such as gateron and outemu for example) Nice video! :)
Cancer_fn So they sound very similar, still very clicky and loud. But they aren't exactly the same. It also depends on your key caps and your keyboard base. The only thing is with green switches, they take less pressure to actuate. So they will feel lighter then blue.

A lot of people have already commented on this but I'm just going to add one more testimony. I own these exact same white puddings from HyperX and they are hands down THE best keycaps you can get for under $20. I truly couldn't believe the quality for such a price. Texture on them feels great and typing on them is super smooth. I replaced my stock Keychron K10 Pro keycaps with these and these literally sound better. I don't have anything other than Cherry Browns and I've double-ringed each keycap stem, and you would swear I spent more money getting my board to sound the way it does. Even if you end up not liking them or using them, they are $15!!! Just own 'em dude. Own them.

I ordered white pudding pbt keycap set online that was OEM at half the price of the hyperx one's and they look and feel quite similar, so I'm glad I didn't have to shell out more money to get these ones
FYI incase the legends irritate anyone in this video, I ordered the same HyperX White pudding keycaps last month (September 2020) and there is no longer any inconsistency in the letters and numbers. They are all fully printed, at least in the US pack I ordered :)

I used these HyperX Doubleshot PBT White Pudding keycaps on my White Anne Pro 2 (Gateron Browns) and can vouch for these keycaps. From your video though, I think I'd like the rgb shine through better from the Ducky.
Thank you for sharing! it's all a matter of preference. I do miss having black keycaps with red accents. I thought it was unique how I had my ducky keycaps and I liked it but i just enjoy the feel of the hyperx keycaps more.
@hvc slate No, you can have other switches from Gateron, Kailh, etc that will fit just fine. Let me know what keyboard you have and i'll help you find out.
As someone considering getting a new keyboard this helps a lot. The amount of color coming through is amazing! I am used to getting mainstream products like Logitech or Corsair but I have always wanted to venture more in to this area. Learning curve ahead I think.
@@prada8780 its a side effect of having the dual mold I think. I don't really know how to explain it, but basically it's so there is no "floating" solid white inside those letters if that makes sense. Probably saves money
I was going to get the black ones but i thought it would be too much of a back and forth contrast. They both look nice though! I still love these white pudding keycaps!
The thing that sucks about these caps is that even though they are pbt, they are thin. They look nice but they don’t have the same heft or quality of the ones that come stock on the ducky. If you’re fan of the fuller sound of thick caps the I’d say to keep looking. Regardless, they do look great and add an extra pop to the rgb’s on the keyboard but there’s a trade off.
Honestly, I have not measured the walls of these keycaps but they feel like better quality to me. I would be shocked if the ducky stock caps are thicker than these HyperX pudding ones.

I just got these and when I connected the USB to my keyboard I was shocked on how bright it was! They feel great aswell 10/10 I deffo recommend this.

I really liked the keys that came with the keyboard. But when it comes to electronics I feel very ignorant.

The reason the keycaps sound and feel different becuase the sides of the keycaps are thinner
The wall thickness for sure has a lot to do with it .

I used these HyperX Doubleshot PBT White Pudding keycaps on my White Anne Pro 2 (Gateron Browns) and can vouch for these keycaps. From your video though, I think I'd like the rgb shine through better from the Ducky.
Thank you for sharing! it's all a matter of preference. I do miss having black keycaps with red accents. I thought it was unique how I had my ducky keycaps and I liked it but i just enjoy the feel of the hyperx keycaps more.

Yeah, just the ansi layout. Maybe they have pudding keycaps for other layouts.
Glorious has their aura keycaps, which are essentially these but I think they are in ISO if u do want them.

As someone considering getting a new keyboard this helps a lot. The amount of color coming through is amazing! I am used to getting mainstream products like Logitech or Corsair but I have always wanted to venture more in to this area. Learning curve ahead I think.

@@prada8780 its a side effect of having the dual mold I think. I don't really know how to explain it, but basically it's so there is no "floating" solid white inside those letters if that makes sense. Probably saves money

The thing that sucks about these caps is that even though they are pbt, they are thin. They look nice but they don’t have the same heft or quality of the ones that come stock on the ducky. If you’re fan of the fuller sound of thick caps the I’d say to keep looking. Regardless, they do look great and add an extra pop to the rgb’s on the keyboard but there’s a trade off.
Honestly, I have not measured the walls of these keycaps but they feel like better quality to me. I would be shocked if the ducky stock caps are thicker than these HyperX pudding ones.

There's a screw hole there to mount the backplate to the board. This is necessary.

Yes, the mecha mini has a floating key switch design and it definitelyyy gives off the floating appearance. It looks absolutely amazing with those types of keyboards!
The little slits in the key caps are intentional, I have these key caps and they are awesome looking

Yes, gateron uses mx stems so the keycaps would work.
