You know Eddie felt the same way about the temptations and I don’t blame them because start was good but it was just something dealing with the investment of the financial, songs, management of songs, etc., with managers focusing on what will lead for more money not what would have keep the temptations together except Otis who did an exceptional job.

David Ruffin and Eddie Kendrick were not The Temptations. From my understanding, Ruffin and Kendrick were close cousins and had grown up together. If they were so great why didn't they form their own group and sing songs that weren't associated with the Temps? No, they were not The Temptations.
