Had a walk around this hotel last week, definitely Moorish vibes. Some nice quiet areas to chill, you can hear their afternoon entertainment over at the Natura Palace. Very good guitarist/singer 👍.
To clarify a few points from this video; The indoor heated pool is open to all guests not just for 'Privilege', The Kasbah can be booked for any level of guest also. For cost effectiveness All Inclusive is a better deal than Privilege in my opinion (We dont need Grey Towels or Grey Bathrobes or free booze as that's all in AI🙄) With AI you also get greatCoffee & Cakes from Mike Coffee shop. The Pool Bar offers a great range of food as an alternative to the main Restaurant at lunchtimes, it does great Pizzas (Vegetarian to order), Salads, Burgers , sandwiches and a range of side etc. The most important comment missed was that the Staff are a BIG part of the hotels winning success, they make the place feel like a family run hotel and they recognise you as returning customers, year after year, they really DO CARE about you. Great location for casual and relaxing Snorkelling too. Have been going there way longer than 4 years too 😂 Good all round hotel for those of mature years but the customers do vary from time of year, with long stayers in the Winter months, welcoming for the Gay community too 🏳🌈 There is a huge army of loyal customers who come back year after year. One down side, they seem to have made a few cuts in the range of food in the main restaurant, over the years but particularly this last year, I suppose all places are under pressure to survive and make a profit but then again they strive to keep updating the pool side and the decor in the rooms. Orignally this was built in the Moorish style and was beautful with an elegant mosaic fountain in the main entrance, unfortunatley long gone.
Beautiful hotel Dave ,when we stayed in the H10 bahia rock hotel 20 years ago 😂 they were overbooked there and offered us to move to the timinfaya hotel but had to decline as we had other family members staying and they didn't get the offer ,wish we did now ,well want to welcome Bob and Karen to the mug club ,cheers for showing us your room
Firstly thanks to Karen and Bob for showing us around and I hope they had a great holiday. The entrance to the hotel lobby looked fabulous, lovely spacious room and wonderful views . Thanks Dave.
Hi Dave, I don't do hotels and prefer a front line villa or apartment when I go on holiday. Do you, or other viewers, have any recommendations in Plays Blanca. Needs to be near all restaurants etc and no hills. Definitely do not come on holiday to climb hills.
Mr Travelon we are there 31st Dec for 2 weeks and come over about 6 times a year. Please can you recommend a gym that runs circuit training classes. We are near the new Aldi but will go anywhere in Playa Blanca for decent classes
Wow wow wow what a brilliant looking hotel omg.superb brillant such a lovely place the sceenery wow..but its very complicated points and things 😅😅😅😅 if i was to go in that posh hotel they get the sweeping brush and swish me out the door 😅😅😅😅😅no dave it breathtaking...the couple god cant remember there names sorry..they were lovely and knew how to get upgrades and privileges and fair play to them..nice you gave them mugs my mug on your mug.😅😅😅 and my face on your case...great video..dave beautifull hotel..ih god having a senior moment whats the hotel called again 😅😅😅😅..duh where is it pdc or pb 🤔 cheers dave ❤❤hi 👋 k 🎉🎉🎉 hi jack hi alfie 😊😊😊cheers collette from trim
In my opinion.. yes they kind of do but I'm not finding it very easy as a coeliac tbh. Some foods are labelled as gluten free which is great but there's so much that is unlabeled even though it should be gf like cheeses and meats and ice cream so it does concern me that it's not safe to eat as it's not labelled as safe. You could say perhaps it's not labelled because it's obvious it's gluten free but all the salad was labelled as gf so it doesn't make sense that so much is left unlabelled. Another massive issue is other diners contaminating everything that was safe initially. The amount of times I've had to forego eating the foods because of others touching their gluten items on their plates with the tongs and then putting them back into the dish transferring crumbs and condemning it as no longer gluten free. I am finding it difficult although I hate to make a fuss so have just made do and muddled on. Dessert wise there is very little choice, in fact none most of the time other than fruit. They do have a lovely cream on offer as gf but I only managed to have it once and each time since it has had cheesecake crumbs transferred into both dishes meaning no longer gf We did eat for one evening in the kasbah restaurant and they were fantastic ensuring I still got the same but gluten free and they were very careful and that was appreciated.
Hi Dave , lost count of times myself and Tracy have stayed there in Privilege A La Carte breakfast downstairs in the Kaz Bah full English brought to your table , great hotel all inclusive well worth it Garlic Prawns and everything on the menus included, Privilege lounge with bar snacks , Privilege sun bathing areas great value for money , B& B or half board on Privilege in the Privilege lounge free flowing help yourself drinks that goes for most H10 hotels , best entertainment is reading the manager Jose Angel Vazquez replies on trip advisor to bad reviews, Quality 😀 me and Tracy over next week staying at the Cala we will give you a bell Phil & Tracy
We went there few times in the past and loved it But when went in 2022 we were so disappointed especially with the food where other years much better So we will not return to this hotel again instead we will be staying somewhere else
