What a stunning art deco reception area & that view from the terrace - wow! I've booked a mini-break here to treat my Mum on her 80th birthday in December, I can't wait! Thanks for the video, it is much better than others that cover the same hotel. I like that you don't overlay annoying music and that you linger with your shots.

Stayed a the Rubicon last year, this is a massive hotel. It's a little tired and it doesn't take long to see it's failings. Our room had a ripped sofabed one of the beds collapsed due to loose legs. The food was okay, and the themed resturants were hit and miss, The bistro was gorgeous and the coffee shop was a shear delight. The piano bar was a favourite, unfortunately it seemed to be the preferred favourite for everyone else aswell! Overall it's a monster of a hotel and you can't ignore it's shear size, we had a good time. I would recommend it just for the experience.

Lively hotel gotta do a day pass
Lovely couple and great to see the Rubicon Palace again. We were there last October half term, really enjoyed it and are returning again this October. I think all inclusive is good value there tbh as you get most of the premium brand drinks and the food was top quality.
I love the Rubicon. Going back in December. Dave, do a day pass when we’re there!!!😅

Dave first of all great videos. I commented yesterday about the shower situation in this hotel as I need a walk in shower as I'm in a wheelchair. Are there any hotel's you have visited that you know have this facility.

We coming in June but can’t decide between this hotel or the Timanfaya palace ..at the Timanfaya are there bars and restaurants within walking distance of it ?

Best hotel iv ever stayed in on the canaries was funny to see this video we stayed in 2017 and amazing to see that Petra was still working there manager as you walked in the Italian she was a la carte manager when we went and bent over backwards to help us a out 1yo at the time as we ate there daily being privilege was amazing

Unfortunately it needs to have a separate shower especially if you are disabled to be a five star hotel.
Why is the canaries getting more expensive? Where is book like recommendations to canaries tourism better PAID to you through from your observations and all correspondence from holiday makers for example infrastructure, improvements getting cocktails in hotels etc.?

Sorry. Stayed at this hotel in 2022. It’s never a 5 star hotel. Long queues at the bar, not enough staff for the size of the complex many were extremely rude. Grounds were rundown and quite often dirty. The pool you featured is freezing and many of the tiles are broken cutting your feet. The hotel lives on a reputation it no longer has. We’ve also ben to the H10 Lanzarote Princess which IMO is a far better hotel with nicer staff. 😊
