- Fishing back in my home town of Dalton, Ga. After missing out on my deep sea fishing excursion, Im left to make due with what footage I got, along with a new day of fishing. Plussino had reached out to me and asked me to try their new spinning rod. That review was lost along with the rest of my fishing footage. Does not speak well to those rods...though every rod has flaws sometimes, it really matters what they do for you about the break. I have a $250 Abu rod that broke a few years ago while I was casting...called them up, took pics, and a new rod was on the door step a few days later.
Yeah, I should see if they have good customer service. They sent me this rod free to review, so I'm not out of pocket. I liked it for the most part, but it wasn't as strong as they rated it. Almost felt like an ultra light. Still should have been able to handle the fish that broke it though. But your right, even the best rods can break. I've been lucky enough to have never had one break until this one though. Thanks for watching!

There’s only one rod any fisherman needs and that is a St. Croix rod worth it every of the $100 plus they cost. You got some nice bass out there bud, you already caught more in this video then I have my whole fishing career, that water out there was perfect.yes I am up this early on my way to fishing for some crappie and bass!
Oh, I don't know. Shimano do a great rod, G.Loomis can't be faulted. There are a number of very good rod manufacturers. Having never used St Croix, I cannot offer a valid opinion on them, bu I do know that I have used some very nice rods that are not St Croix.
Lol as much as you fish, I doubt that. Yeah, I didn't expect much from that rod, but Plusinno sent it to me for free, so I figured I'd get some use out of it. I've never had a rod break on me. I've thought about the St Croix rod, but I've never spent more than $60 on a rod before. Maybe one day I'll bite the bullet. I'll agree with Andrew on Schimano. Just got their slx reel and love it
I like Shimano too. Just picked up their slx bait casting reel and love it
@@StrungOutOutdoors I have had a couple of Shimano spinning reels. The Sedona and the nasci. Both are fantastic reels. I have a couple of Shimano rods, my carp rod is a Saharra and it is awesome casting and fighting the fish.

Lol I was enjoying that rod up until then. It was a little underpowered compared to what they claimed, but I enjoyed it. Kind of glad I lost that footage, cause I was going to recommend it up until yesterday lol
