Bryon is absolutely the man! A true enthusiast, a hell of a driver himself, and as generous as they come. Literally tossed my 17 year old son the keys to his 992 GT3 RS the day he met him just so my son could impress a girl at the car show! ❤😊
I find it funny how a long time ago, most cars were stick shift, then gradually almost all became automatic and paddle shift. Yet driving a stick shift these days in either an old or new car seems to be most engaging and preferred driving experience of many. Every car has its place in life, but a manual stick shift with a combustion engine will always be my top choice!!!!
Congratulations to the owner for actually driving ST !!!! Flywheel and clutch is such epic experience, I have it in my 992 Touring and manage to put over 6k miles in one summer, can not stop driving it . Excellent video
whilst not a car of your guys' caliber ... i bought my first 911 last year ... CPO, and with 45k miles ... it sits at 60k miles ... SMILES PER GALLON!!!
Luke makes these with so passion, when you watch them you feel like you’re watching those Christmas movies with your family in a cozy room! Absolutely amazing work! And the 911, I mean is there anything I can say then WOW. 😮
Respect that he’s driving it. I can’t understand how many buy these cars and sit them in a garage. Personally, I can stop driving my little cayman s. Granted the s/t is a lot more expensive
If you're lucky enough to own a car for fun drives then 100% and go for the driver engagement manual than track pace PDK. If you're using it as a daily then the dual clutch is still easier to live with.
@ True. I actually used to think that way. I agree that a manual requires more effort in daily use, but now I think that the pleasure derived from it is worth the trade-off.
doing it right guys... impressed that Brian actually ENJOYS and DRIVES his car .... thank you for that! Brian, you legend. Luke, thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Maybe the most amazing car „available“ at the moment and the content is great as always. Dark blue with that caramel interior is also super nice. Just can‘t understand the black wheels especially on this spec with the silver window trim and all. This car would look infinitely better with silver wheels.
@ fair! Kudos for driving it in Winter! Although I never understood why winter wheels should be an excuse for a less exciting look, good to know he‘s rocking an amazing spec at least for half a year 😁
I’m just curious what he does (or did) for a living :) Very generous of him to let you take it. These are special cars, and like you both said in the video - they deserve to be driven, not merely exist in a climate controlled garage and washed. It was built to be used!
Nice one Luke. Regarding comments about never being able to afford an ST, dealer allocations and actually using these cars, people should look at 991 Touring. Probably similar thrills to the ST, on public roads, anyway. Rare, but not that rare that you wouldn’t use it. Probably one of the prettiest 911s. Best interior and while not the cheapest car in the world it isn’t $700k or even CHF400k.
Already has more km than Mat Watson's GT3 RS that he just sold 😒. Good on Brian! Using them as intended! Great video as always Luke, perfect start of the new year. Best wishes for the upcoming one!
This man has good taste, 993t, 3RS, S/T and spyder. Lovely garage. Me, 993t, 3, 4, maybe I need a S/T too?! haha, if only one could get an allocation!!
Yea this is the car . I have loved cars all my life . Own a g80 m3 manual and I absolutely love it. Dream come true. If cars didn’t have value this is the only car I would trade my g80 for . I love that it looks like a sleeper too! So cool !
Top content once again Luke! There's something mesmerizing about a manual Porsche...I'd love a POV drive of the S/T if you can "steal" it again someday - or from your very own one, which I'm sure you'll try and get sooner or later. Cheers and a happy new year!
His Aubergine GT3RS is so sick man, what a color. Maybe should've gone for a PTS Manaus or Albert blue in the ST, although you can't go wrong with Gentian. Love that he's actually driving the car!! True enthusiast
My number 1 dream car for sure! The owner of the 911 S/T is such a nice guy! He probably can afford every car in the world, but he still enjoys the sound of a 'real' Porsche. Happy New Year everyone! #oneday...
I literally got goosebumps on that wall sound test. The only cars that comes close to Porsche - for sound value, are the GMA Cosworth V12's, & the 787B Mazda Le Mans racer. If anyone has a spare 2019 RSR-19 lying around, that was the best sounding car of all time, & I have a mate at Manthey who can sort out the conversion to road spec ... donations welcome.
What a way to start 2025! Incredible piece of film making as usual Luke. Emotive as always and you captured the engine sounds beautifully. Loved the end, leaving us with two seconds of just the engine and nothing else. Class. I hope you have a fantastic year and I’m looking forward to your videos. Can I be cheeky and ask a question given you briefly talked about this in your video - I’m looking at a 991 (based on budget and to keep it NA) either a 991.1 GTS or a GT3. I’m a lifelong 911 fan - but never owned one - and always doted on a GT3 but my biggest love (aside from looks) is the sound of the engine. I’ve heard the GTS engine sound is better lower down and in normal / everyday driving conditions. The GT3 is obviously great top end which is great for the first two gears! I’m unlikely to track the car and I live in the UK. Based on sound and every day driving which would you pick? I’d really be interested in your opinion and thoughts.
Congrats on the drive, Luke! Wonderful stuff😎 And thanks to klzbugs for sharing it with us. (700k in the us is wild) btw. I was on the bike at Sattelegg😅
Way back in 2005, I had license plate "BUGKLR" on my 987 BS. Sadly not many people - not even Porsche owners - got the gist of it. Most thought I was an exterminator LOL. Current proud owner of an SRS :)
I was beginning to think your love affair with Porsche was fading after the 992.2 Carrera review….but seems faith has been restored! Porsche still the best imo and the S/T the pinnacle! Great video as always….love your work!
Amazing car Luke! You were admiring the exhaust…and it sure is epic! Is the exhaust note actually all that different than a 992 Touring though? I thought they had the same exhaust.
👏Golf clap Porsche, golf clap. Only you can build a car that should be the dynamic base model but instead charge 3x for it. Genius. “The most profitable car company” indeed.
Brian, take care of your other Porsches those ones that you were naming they’re awesome too. I like Porsche since I rode in my cousins one of these days I will get a Porsche but I’m not too sure which one take care brother and have a happy new year like said I hope I’m not a tape recorder. Good day good week and many more.
Cheers to brian to actually drive the best car for driver, not some dude who buys this turning the car into queen garage and hope to sell it for profit
We all need a friend like that!
100%
Exactly! Maybe we can become friends with Luke and then become friends with his friend 😁
We all need a car like that.😊
Hahaha. He is a dear friend of mine and it is super funny seeing him on here. What a car and what scenery!
I’m blessed to call him a friend here back in Houston. Bryon will throw any of his keys at you and say enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing the experience. Good to see an S/T that is already being used as intended. Well done both.
Cheers and yes exactly!
Hey Luke, really enjoyed this “meet the owner” interview format! Maybe thisn can be something for the future
That would be cool!
honestly great idea
Yup, much better than those pretentious cinematic shots. I want to hear conversations, stories of the car and what do you think.
9:19 Bro had an orgasm when Luke floored it... Jokes aside what a guy & cool of him to share the S/T with the channel
Yep 🙏
Bryon is absolutely the man! A true enthusiast, a hell of a driver himself, and as generous as they come. Literally tossed my 17 year old son the keys to his 992 GT3 RS the day he met him just so my son could impress a girl at the car show! ❤😊

What a treat of a video! you're such a good host always letting your guests talk, great atmosphere thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sweetest car on the sweetest day
Heritage interior is beautiful, what an opportunity to drive this!
yes and yes!
Congratulations to the owner for actually driving ST !!!! Flywheel and clutch is such epic experience, I have it in my 992 Touring and manage to put over 6k miles in one summer, can not stop driving it . Excellent video

Luke makes these with so passion, when you watch them you feel like you’re watching those Christmas movies with your family in a cozy room! Absolutely amazing work! And the 911, I mean is there anything I can say then WOW. 😮
congrats on the driver for driving it properly
100%
Such a sincere and benevolent video. Many thanks Luke. Your enthusiasm radiates commensurate with the S/T.
Respect that he’s driving it. I can’t understand how many buy these cars and sit them in a garage. Personally, I can stop driving my little cayman s. Granted the s/t is a lot more expensive
Good to see this comment. Currently looking to buy a 981s. Will be my first Porsche ...(Opted for glorious flat 6)
@@sandman12398Did you test the 718 4 cyl. before ? Such a better car than the 981. 😉
Glad to see one on the road and it's actually driven. Thank you again for sharing this amazing experience.
This is the best sounding Porsche i think I’ve ever heard. Great video
Cheers and yes agree
Lovely spec! Sounds fantastic as well
Perfect start into the New year 🎉
🙏
I think nothing beats a stick shift for driver engagement.
Starting the new year off with a good coffee & a fresh upload! Cheers to a new year Luke!
Cheers! Same to you 🙏
9:19 look at the owner's face mid acceleration
That's due to the succion sound. 😁
doing it right guys... impressed that Brian actually ENJOYS and DRIVES his car .... thank you for that! Brian, you legend. Luke, thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Our pleasure!
Maybe the most amazing car „available“ at the moment and the content is great as always.
Dark blue with that caramel interior is also super nice. Just can‘t understand the black wheels especially on this spec with the silver window trim and all. This car would look infinitely better with silver wheels.
If you watch the full video these are his winter wheels. He has the magnesium ones in silver 🏆
@ fair! Kudos for driving it in Winter! Although I never understood why winter wheels should be an excuse for a less exciting look, good to know he‘s rocking an amazing spec at least for half a year 😁
if you had watched the video, they explained that these are his winter wheels. the stock magnesium wheels are silver.
@@rekt_86 well, if you had read my reply to the previous comment 😄
He lives in Houston. He’s rocking his amazing spec year round.
It’s a shame what you said that many cars like that in Switzerland are not being used! Good video! Drive the cars!!
Well done!! Sounds incredible 😎👏
100%
Mate this is my dream spec. I hope i can get my hands on a car like this in the future.
Love your videos man, keep up the great work.
Cheers 🙏
I like the format of both you along with for the drive talking about the car. Nice video, Luke!
Brian - what a cool dude. Kudos on the heavy foot, for the conditions. That exhaust testing wall ❤

Amazing! Congrats to kilzbugs! Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year!
Quite the happy new year video. Two special and generous people with an obviously great Porsche.
Thank you.
The man has great taste when it comes to speccing cars!
Wow that sounded amazing @4:40. Not sure if echo in Switzerland, but did not notice in review videos.
I’m just curious what he does (or did) for a living :)
Very generous of him to let you take it. These are special cars, and like you both said in the video - they deserve to be driven, not merely exist in a climate controlled garage and washed. It was built to be used!
I was searching on some 911 s/t content and this is a perfect timing.
👌👌
Perfect spec, dark blue, tan interior 🤩
Absolutely agree 👍🏻
That’s #2
My 2025 boxster S

😛
What an awesome review with an awesome owner. Thank you so much for bringing Brian on your channel! 🧡
Thanks, was my pleasure 🙏
Maybe be the pinnacle of 911? Love the specs... Happy New year Luke
For now for the 992 series I guess!
What a cool guy Brian is. Congratulations to him for enjoying the best car in the the world.

I say this a lot on your videos, but, what a phenomenal machine! Great to see Brian is driving & enjoying it! 👏
Excellent! Thanks for highlighting the joys of driving these awesome cars!
I’ve always struggled to see how anything can be better than my Cayman with PDK and paddle shift… just wish I had a friend like that
It sounds incredible!!😳🤌🏻
100%
Love it ❤ S/T is the best …
As a longtime channel fan & someone that did European Delivery on a Porsche myself in May 2024, I was so excited to see this!
Cheers, happy to hear 🙏
What a machine. Great video. And thank you to Brian for using and sharing this thing with us.
Thank you and yes very mcuh
Congrats to this gentleman on his collection. America feels truly like the land where dreams can come true.
Yea this is the car . I have loved cars all my life . Own a g80 m3 manual and I absolutely love it. Dream come true. If cars didn’t have value this is the only car I would trade my g80 for . I love that it looks like a sleeper too! So cool !
5:25 That Polo R that just casually passed by thooo 🤩🤣

I think it’s the first Luke’s video that I saw where he exceeded the speed limit. And that says a lot about the S/T! What a machine!!
😂🤘
His Aubergine GT3RS is so sick man, what a color. Maybe should've gone for a PTS Manaus or Albert blue in the ST, although you can't go wrong with Gentian. Love that he's actually driving the car!! True enthusiast
Gorgeous car, especially the interior

What a video to set the tone for this year!
Happy to hear!
simply lovely
The rear end looks so much nicer than the GT3 touring´s imo with the Carrera air intakes at the top and the normal GT3s lower bumper. A dream
I literally got goosebumps on that wall sound test.

It's such an incredible car. Full on drivers car with a glorious sound. Nice video
that interior is amazing
Indeed, colour is lovely
Kudos to Brian for being Man enough to let you hammer on this beautiful car. Especially in the winter. Well Done Gents!
Indeed! However he hammered it much more 😂👌
very cool start of the year!
🙏
Just amazing!
That sound is glorious ! I’m amazed it’s road legal
Very happy about it!

what a car my friends what a car. Once driven never would want another one. Best brand in the world. Happy new year everyone.

Awesome car. Hope to see this one at a PCA meet here in Houston sometime.
Beautiful car. Nice color too.
And Luke, I hope you do other videos with other people with their Porsches and you too little. Happy new year and take care.
TH-cam 2025 Luke coming out strong
Porsche just makes your ears happy and your face hurt from smiling
Fantastic to see an ST being used .
Definitely!
Love the content Luke!
Really nice spec. I'd probably go with something like Irish Green, but its a really nice spec. So jealous!
There's one for sale on AutoScout24 in launch spec for 495k swiss francs. Personally would pick a 992 RS for 150k less over the S/T.
Lol let's hope nobody is silly enough to pay such a rip off price for a dealer.
What a treat of a video!
I was beginning to think your love affair with Porsche was fading after the 992.2 Carrera review….but seems faith has been restored! Porsche still the best imo and the S/T the pinnacle! Great video as always….love your work!
Oh no for sure not! That’s one car in 8 years I didn’t really feel that’s all. Cheers 🙏
What an experience you had!!please car manufacturers don’t “kill” the manual transmission!!!!Great video Luke as always…💪💪💪
Cheers 🤘
Great video Luke ❤
yessir the cartographer pic made it
Manual☑️ Screaming Engine☑️Goes like the Wind☑️Only thing to do now is have a ☕ and relive the Moments.
Amazing car Luke! You were admiring the exhaust…and it sure is epic! Is the exhaust note actually all that different than a 992 Touring though? I thought they had the same exhaust.
Indeed! It’s different for sure, how much different from the 992.2 though I can’t say as I didn’t drive one yet.
Another GREAT video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
wooow , that sounds GREEEEEEAT
👌👌
I am very impressed that he's put so many miles on it so quickly.
Bryon’s the man!! 🎉
This is a very special car... but for the price, would I buy an S/T or a 997 3.8 RS?
dude, you are blessed. enjoy life and every single mile!
🙏
👏Golf clap Porsche, golf clap. Only you can build a car that should be the dynamic base model but instead charge 3x for it. Genius. “The most profitable car company” indeed.
I wonder how the experience compared to 911R. Basically the same tbh. Same weight, short gear, 3RS engine, lightweight flywheel and same displacement
There actually is a s/t for sale in Geneva!
Brian, take care of your other Porsches those ones that you were naming they’re awesome too. I like Porsche since I rode in my cousins one of these days I will get a Porsche but I’m not too sure which one take care brother and have a happy new year like said I hope I’m not a tape recorder. One of my fav
Cheers to brian to actually drive the best car for driver, not some dude who buys this turning the car into queen garage and hope to sell it for profit
Like that carwow guy?😂
Not that I'm complaining.. I'd love to have one like that but I wouldn't choose that kind of gear lever. Maybe a metal one..
Just imagine how well this thing will drive once the magnesium wheels are back on.
Exactly!
