    Thank you, I find the face one awkward and find running my hands over my hair very soothing. I remember my mother doing that when I was unwell as a child.
    Was there any study done on stroking the hair I wonder.

      The scientific study showed that, on average, the cheeks were the most sensitive area in terms of generating Delta Waves. But the response seems to vary between individuals. Touching anywhere on the head seems to be effective, including in the hair.
