Because I’m not getting any information going to the Bluetooth on my phone and I’ve downloaded the app and it does acknowledge it but no parameters come up it’s like it’s not getting power so I just wanted to know if that little Light should come on when it’s connected to my phone

Also if I disable it from the app, will the car behave as if I have plugged nothing? or there will be still something affecting the performance? Thanks

@@tadawolyawmi-3362 No you don’t need to install anything the JB4 will work fine without any modifications of course if you modify it it’ll definitely run stronger depending the mods of course. And on 94 I wouldn’t go higher than Map 4 or Map 5 is the most I would recommend on that fuel.
I used to use presented maps like map 2 is good for 93. And no mostly likely you’ll have to download the JB4 app and choose the settings or maps in there.
I’m having an issue with mine when I hook it up it goes to limp mode immediately I do have one question for you when you hooked up to Bluetooth does that little light come on on the module for Bluetooth

@@562sela9you should always be running a minimum of 93 bro. i know it’s expensive but trust it’s worth it you get better mpg and a little better hp nothing crazy tho lol
@crescent fallen Gotta be very careful running custom settings on map 6. Honestly keep at Map 1 or 2 and you should be good/safe; otherwise, at the very least upgrade the heat exchanger and add lower downpipes minimum...if not full exhaust.

I have a 2018 q50s is not a red sport, I only did muffler and resonator delete, can I buy a jb4 and use map 1 thru 4 with no issues?
It shouldn’t be a problem I wouldn’t recommend higher than map 2 on a redo sort though.

No there should be no side effect also if it is disabled in the app the JB4 will not be working it’ll be like On Map 0

Map 4 on good 93 Octane should work for that.
Do you need to do dyno run test to better tune it? Or once you plugged it, you are good to go?

Hey new on the q50 got 3.0t the fuel wire is confusing me? Is it needed? Or if I buy with fuel wires does it have to be on
I never used them because mine never came with them. It’s not needed but it does help.

No you have to buy the Bluetooth module in order to use that option on the JB4
