@@therockstarlydia9715 Yes. You do exactly as she did for the round before the 6dc bundles and slip stitch into the first chain to connect the row, then ss into the middle of the bundle, ch2, and continue.
In the shells ....ya do * 3 dc chain 1, 3 dc in the same shell...skip to the next shell and repeat..you do this around the whole row..do this for 20 or as many rows as needed...hope this helps.🌷

Ice redone rows..my stitch count is right on but when row 4 is done it's not...and I've done it 3 times...zoomed to be sure...and not a total newbie...I think stitch counts are wrong

you're right. i had to redo 2 times to find that it is indeed wrong. if the first row 47, the second would be 62 not 64. therefore, u should add one more chain to the foundation chain. instead of 49, do 50. first row would be 48 second row would be 64

Counts are off starting row 4. If you have 47 stitches first row, you will be missing 4 stitches to get to 14 stitches on your arm holes. Please amend your pattern so the counts are correct, thanks. It is beautiful, but a pity the stitch count is incorrect. Ended up adding an extra stitch to keep up. We will see if that adds up by the end.
Love this pattern, but I feel where the hole where the baby’s head is going thru is too small? My stitch count was off too until I realized that she stitches down the side of the end of the row. If you notice, her row slants down almost to a point at the end.

In row 1 you mentioned 47 dc but the total count comes upto 48 including the 2 skipped slip stitches which count as one double crochet.
