Great episode, Ron... as always. Best wishes for Max and his upcoming surgery and a speedy recovery! 🙏👍🙂It was good to see Gabe again, even if only in a flashback! Always enjoy the episodes of his visits! 👍🙂 Thank you!
Great video today Ron. Good news for Max. Best wishes for him. You’ve had more than a good summer. You had a great year for biking. Not too many missed days last winter. Take care n see you tomorrow.
Hi Ron, best wishes for Max 🙏! Lol love how you talk to us as if we were there with you, yep just a little higher! Looked very cold on the bridge this morning, looked very beautiful 😎😎😎see you tomorrow
I have found that using the minimum amount of liquid when applying decals, produced the perfect finish. Use just enough water to activate the adhesive on the back of the decal film. Don't puddle the water onto the part you sticking the decal to. Once the decal is properly placed, use a cotton bud to press the decal against the plastic by rolling it across the decal film. This will seat the decal and remove all excess water from under the film. Once the decal has set and is dry, then you can add Solvaset to to make the decal snug down into the plastic. Too much liquid under the decal is not good for the decal because it stops the adhesive from sticking the decal in place and will result in the air bubbles appearing. Hope this helps.
Good luck Max! Hoping all works our perfectly for you and you are back to walking Missy and visiting Ron in short order. I'd be happy to walk her for you! But.. See ya. JimE
Hi Ron just an idea but on the dials that have a raised needle why not sand the needle off and then you wouldn't have to worry about the decal settling exactly over it. At arms length you can't tell if the needle is raised and putting the decal on a flat surface would be easier. Hope this makes sense and best wishes Vic.
Ripping a small piece of paper towel and just touching the decal absorbs much of the excess moisture - whether water or micro-sol. Just a little tip - not that you need it.
😇Maybe you tried all this but: I would use not so much of SET . The water/glue under the decals is slippery enough I think. And maybe use a wooden toothpick to apply Set or Solve and to move the decals around. Be careful when you move decals after using Solve 😄 But these are so small, the result is almost trivial 🤣
Don't use a heat gun on the decals Ron. You will ruin the decal and melt the part. Just have patience for it to dry. Whoever gave that advice for a heat gun is misguided

Christmas has come early for Max! All the best to Max with his hip surgery! I'm surprised they will let him go home the same day.
Hi Daniel. They likely couldn't keep him in there even if they wanted to anyway, haha!
Decals look good Ron, nicely done
Thanks 👍
Ron’ nice work on the decals, I would not heat the up to speed things up, I let them dry normally. Great video Ron, happy everything.
Thanks 👍

If you take one of Gabbs old swobs and remove the brisles it makes a perfect tool for moving decals

I tried Movember once, my wife hated it so much it nearly turned into Divorcember 😅😅

Two gauges look to have the decals upside down 🙃
