    I bought this wheel a few weeks ago and I’m hooked, I now have a full sim cockpit on the way from next level racing and the shifter and handbrake from thrustmaster just showed up today, this thing gave one hell of a first impression and I can’t wait to experience racing with a complete setup.

    It's definitely a good entry level wheel, and a nice step up if you're looking to replace a T150, so far playing it in DR 2.0 and WRC10 it feels a little heavier steering wise and is definitely more powerful than the T150 holy shit what an arm workout at 100% force feedback. lol

    Yes this wheel feels cheap ish. It's not though. Way more power than the t150. Less gear clunk. Doesn't feel like I'm going to sheer a gear tooth when I drift. The shifters are awesome. You have more force feedback settings in the wheel with the new firmware update. Like he said the best pedal set that isn't a load cell pedal set in this price range. This wheel isn't competing with top of the line DD wheels. It's replacing the t150, and eating logitech's lunch lol.

    As someone that is getting into sim racing I struggle to pull the trigger the g923 and this T248. My local bestbuy has the G923 on display and a demo and I was surprised how well it felt and the strength it had but have no idea how to compares to the T248.

      G923 vs T248 is my next big video. I haven't begun the testing yet so I don't have an opinion right now. It does take time so it will be 2-3 weeks before that's done.

      Well I might not be able to give a fair comparison but I got the g29 first, but it was broken. However quality wise i felt that the t248 felt better to use than the g29. The only thing better with that wheel was that it used metal instead of hard plastic (and that it looks better overall). No deal breakers for me so I'd recommend the t248.

    The cable on the back off the pedals platform from the Logitech is crushing between the pedals and the wall.

    Ok so I’ve watched loads of reviews on several wheel and pedal set for ps5 which is confusing in itself. Settled on either t-gt 2 or t248.
    The problem is I’ve done some searches to see if anyone is having any issues and there seems to be a calibration issue with the t-gt 2 and the t248 has had pedal problems.
    I don’t know what to do as now I’m afraid if I get one or the other I’m going to have problems. Should I just stick with controller

    Seeing as you now have felt the difference between these and the horrible T3PA pedals (which I still have)...how do you rate the resistance on the throttle and clutch in comparison to the T3PA. I hate how light they feel. Would love to hear your honest opinion on that. Here in South Africa, I can't get hold of the T-LCM...out of stock everywhere. But I can get hold of the T3PM. Would you consider them a good upgrade to the T3PA pedals...or should I rather wait until I can get a T-LCM pedal set? No mentions the throttle and clutch resistance in their reviews.

    • @SimRacingCorner
      @SimRacingCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure, theT3PM set is a step-up over the T3PA pedals, but I wouldn't consider it a proper upgrade. My advice is to wait for the T-LCM pedals to get the load cell brake. A load cell brake has a huge advantage over a potentiometer brake pedal.

    The T300 looks like it could be discontinued. So you have to ask yourself how long Thrustmaster will Continue to support it over the newer T248. For that reason I would pick the T248 o er the T300

      Where did you get that information? I haven't heard that.

      @Brushy Bill Again, how do you know this? Are you basing this assumption because it's currently out of stock on the TM website, that doesn't mean it's discontinued.

      @Brushy Bill the t300 is a better wheel which is marketed at different people then this wheel, it's pretty obvious this wheel is made only to compete with the g29, with the way the design looks, and it's price point. the t300 is a higher end wheel, marketed at serious sim racers, that do not care about what their wheel looks like

    I just got this wheel this week and anyone interested I say just do it! I had a tmx prior, and this absolutely blew my expectations away.

      @@timhorrocks3515 do you have a wheel you're replacing or is this the first one? I still absolutely love mine in fact I've only got more into sim racing since this comment. I did get it on sale for Black Friday so I can't really say if it's the best wheel for full price or not but I havent had any issues at all it instantly allowed me to drift like a boss in Forza and carx, compared to my TMX which i couldnt do it on it didnt center itself as good when you throw the wheel. My sessions last all day sometimes, when the heat gets to 90+ after super hard long racing sessions I will let it cool down but I've never actually got a "hi temp" warning. Pedals are best you can get for what they are too. I can only compare to my TMX but this is way better. Like in acc, when I'm low pressure you can actually feel it kind of bounce around in your wheel, I didn't get those details on my TMX.
