- Over Easy featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Since this feature Over Easy has opened a second location in North Scottsdale. The Scottsdale Over Easy is located in the same building as the Ice Den and 18 Degrees restaurant.
I was at Over Easy in Tempe, Arizona on Tuesday March 19th, 2024 and i had the chicken fried steak, the gravy is very tasty with the two eggs on top which you don't ever see. I definitely suggest Over Easy for those who wants a great breakfast.

the bananas french toast and the red eye gravy on ham are honestly seriously seriously good. This is our go to breakfast joint in Phoenix.
My go to in Scottsdale is Butters

It's amazing how far TV quality has come since 2010. This looks like it was filmed in the early 2000s.

Unfortunately, the Over Easy near the Ice Den closed down - otherwise I would have been there at least once a week for breakfast as I work down the road lol. Nearest one now is in Paradise Valley.
But I can verify that the banana nut french toast is to die for as advertised.

Best and most important meal of the day! So it should be the biggest .if you have a big enough breakfast you won't need lunch. Snack maybe cheese n crackers , fruits,small salad even chicken or tuna salad. Light dinner before 6 o'clock. You gain weight after that if you eat too much. Or anything heavy. Just snack at night or don't eat all day 😂😆 lol
They serve such HUGE PORTIONS on this show!!😱
Ordering from this place on DoorDash because I’m too lazy to go in person, they have an “as seen on tv” section of the menu, I went with the chicken and waffles, I’ve always wanted to try a restaurant that was featured on this show so hopefully it’s good

Gravy is such a broad term in America isn’t it. Can be the red sauce for pasta, the white stuff with milk and sausage or (occasionally) somewhat similar to British chicken gravy

As a native Arizonan I fucking hate this... I live in Arizona basically because it's cheap, but my god is the rest of the US just flat out stupid when it comes to how hot it truly gets here. This place is a weather wasteland, it WILL make you HATE blue skies and the Sun. It's dead it's dry it's lifeless, and other people see it as some glorious fucking beacon of hope since apparently "sunshine equals you must be happy!" --- I literally long for the days of rain and cloud and a nice cool breeze whilst every other fucking Arizonan bundles up if it is less than 80 degrees F outside.
Often you hear about people saying something about how crazy it is that people live in cold weather somewhere. Realize fully that this works both ways.

This place looks pretty good. I’ve trusted Guy twice so far. He hit one out the park with Metro Diner. Hill billy hot dog was a bit disappointing, but it didn’t lack flavor. Just not worth the drive from VA.
