A lot of bad takes on this one. Strong/Herman never won their conference. Or made the playoff. So it's a stretch to compare their experiences with Sark. Also: if the previous season's success has no bearing on the following season, you could make the argument that Georgia and Ohio State will be underwhelming as well.
These guys don't have a clue. They talk out both sides of their mouth. Texas has big bad SEC schedule week in and week out and then immediately follow that with they have an easy SEC Schedule
Their point was Texas has 1 of the easiest SEC schedules this season but it's still the SEC. You might beat those less talented teams but don't be delusional about it they are still SEC physical.
@@wizarddragon SEC physical? That's like saying Ford tough. Doesn't mean anything. The SEC has such a big head about this conference because of Alabama and recently Georgia. That's it, LSU had that one off year where they won it all and Florida going even further back. Playing Vandy, Miss St, Arkansas, Kentucky, S. Carolina, etc. etc. is the same as playing Kansas, Iowa St, Texas tech, K-State.
@@davidrichey601Who do you think produces more NFL players (also known as talent) between those schools you mentioned? Texas wasn't able to face that level of quality and go undefeated... so even by your own logic, if they were equal, Texas would still struggle. Your logic against the SEC also falls short. You claim the SEC "has a big head because of Alabama and recently Georgia." But ever since there was a postseason to crown a National Champion (known as the BCS), the SEC has been the best. So even if you took Alabama & Georgia out, the SEC would still have more championships than any other conference, and with more teams. Without Bama & UGA, the SEC would have 7 titles with 4 different teams. The B1G has 3 with 2 teams, the ACC has 5 (giving them Miami) with 3 teams, the Big12 has 2 with 2 teams, and the Pac12 has 2 with 1 team. So even without the top 2, it's still the best conference. But that's still not an apples to apples comparison! Let's take the top 2 away from every conference and truly compare what the rest of the SEC is compared to everyone else. Only the ACC would have a title with Miami, but they weren't in the ACC then, I was just being generous. No matter how you chop it up, there's no comparison! And you can't take Bama or UGA out.
@@tremoore61 then why does Texas have a winning record against the entire SEC in the modern era? Because we struggle? HA! I'm not saying the SEC isn't the best conference, all I'm saying is that it's not as great as its fans think it is top to bottom.
First you say big 12 is weak so we leave to SEC, we beat bama at their house, and now that we come to SEC you wanna say our schedule is weak when we have a top 15 strength of schedule. ANd we scheduled Michigan on the road please do better on logic.
🤣😂🤣You guys are ridiculous; and I say that with love. Well, I know where not to come for sec cfb evaluations. Y’all are in y'alls feelings, couldn’t hide your bias if you were invisible. The Marler dude is quoting draft picks and rank games lost fom 3 different staffs. Only a handful have to do with Sark. So Sark is a 8-9 win coach regardless of what he does but Deboer is a great coach even if bama takes a few or more losses? What was the purpose of the elite talk? I agree Ewers & Sark aren’t elite. Name me one QB in the sec that’s elite? Yeah, I’ll wait. You’re in your feelings dude. Outside of Kirby and probably Kelly, name me another coach in the sec that’s elite? So that’s about 13% of the coaches in the sec that are elite. So what are we talking about? What does Kiffin’s time at UTenn have to do with Ole Miss 2024 man? Texas has an easy schedule but a&m has a decent schedule and UTenn has a manageable schedule? Huh, come again? We play the same programs in the conference as UTenn save bama. They got NCst. as their competitive ooc opponent and we have UM. Marler is telling on himself a bit because he says my Horns schedule is easy but then start talking about how tough a sec schedule is. Make up your mind. Let’s not act like the sec would be undefeated if they did a challenge with the bit12. The sec would win but they would take at least 5-6 L’s. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t give a 💩 about the bit12. Mizzou was one of the sec’s better teams last season and needed a miracle 60yd field goal to beat Kstate at home. C’mon now. Maybe y’all need to chill the hell out because y’all are too deep in your feelings man. 😂😂🤘🏾
So tired. Quit trying to fabricate all this “disrespect”. Texas is going to be ready for every single opponent for the foreseeable future. Doesn’t mean they’ll win every game, but you can rest assured they’ll be ready. Y’all don’t need our “respect”, and we don’t need yours. Line it up and let’s go.
Texas is just getting started at that. Sark has learned that his future QB's gotta have so wheels too. Love Quinn but that's just not his thing per se...even when comes to extending plays. Just wait until these next QB's had that to the offense. 🤘🏿
I’ve evaluated many rosters this spring. I’ve done full breakdowns in my sports groups. Outside of Texas’s secondary they are absolutely loaded roster wise. Great offensive line lead by kelvin banks and 3 other returning starters. Great RB room with ced Baxter watch out for there freshman rb Gibson out of IMG he’s special. Deep WR room Isaiah bond is a beast, then they got all 5 stars and other experienced guys. The defensive line with Ant Hill and Alfred Collins is good they got some backups on the Dline that would be starters at other schools. There linebackers are solid only weakness is the secondary.
@@darnellrtr252 Barron getting hurt in the Bama game was costly, and losing Williams for the first half of the Washington game probably cost them the game, in my opinion (comparing 1st half stats to second half, when he was allowed to return). The secondary was night & day from 1st half to 2nd half. Muhammad is an absolute ball hawk
Funny how the most arrogant conference in football has the nuts to call Texas arrogant. Look in the mirror people. The Sec winning tradition is most compromised of 2 teams. The rest are mediocre teams.
I agree it's all bama and wait wait wait for it LSU. Not who you were thinking of I bet. LSU has MORE national titles this century than any other school besides the only other one I mentioned besides LSU. LSU has just as many as the ENTIRE big. MORE than the OLD xii and MORE than the entire LEFT coast. SEC has FOUR teams with MULTI national titles THIS CENTURY. If that's mediocre then what's your thoughts on the rest of the entire college football world OUTSIDE the SEC? It's been SEC VS SEC in at least TWO title games maybe ever THREE times.
The SEC has *four* different *multiple championship winners* in the past twenty years - no other conference came *remotely close* to that sort of depth, with one apiece (B10: OSU, ACC: Clemson, Pac: USC)
Haters will be haters. The Chris’s must’ve been sipping the same cool aid this morning because they are absolutely tripping. Sweat and Murphy were three star recruits that developed into nfl prospects under PK. We did it before. We will do it again.
@@LockedOnSEC I’m sorry. I didn’t know there was only one coach that knew how to develop d line prospects. Gosh how will anyone anyone outside of LsU have a decent line 🙄Head coach, D coordinator are there still. They consulted some of the best to find a developer. It’s hilarious that y’all complain about d line prospects moving on and it affecting us. But then talk about Quinn as he won’t have another year in the program. Again, haters will be haters.
Ikr. Different AD different coaching staff different players but it's "just like Charlie Strong 10 yrs ago." And at the same time "11 players into the NFL draft."
I see your point, but there are a lot of things independent of the coaching staff that absolutely impact the outcomes of games, even though they are inexplicable at best, such as Death Valley at night, or Jordan Hare anytime (add reynolds razorback stadium if you're ole miss)... None of that is at issue here, though. That is. other than these are things that Texas and Oklahoma may have heard about , but have yet to experience. It's the whole premise that the mid teams in the Big 12 are similar to the mid teams in the SEC, which had me wondering what they're smoking. Vanderbilt would be a mid in the Big 12 NOW (and they probably would have won two big twelve titles the last two years James Franklin was there.
Hubris. Florida used to have it. Georgia seems to have avoided it. Alabama has had it for a while, but we had to explain to them what it meant. And now Texas seems to have a double portion, though they haven’t even played a game in the SEC. Well, pride comes before the fall. Let’s see how long it takes for Texas fans to turn on their players and call out their coaches. Better not lose at Michigan.
Texas has no excuse to not be good every year. For as much talent that rolls thru their program, they should be challenging for Natty's alot more often than they do.
Texas talent is not the same as Georgia/Florida talent. Simply based on titles. Texas hasn't won a title since the SEC was left out and got stomped by Missagin. They were very fortunate to skip UGA last year
@@allahakbar6739 i hope youre not serious. theres more nfl talent in the state of texas than any other state. thats fact. recruiting in texas is easy. coaching has been a serious issue for texas for a long long time. i dont like texas, btw. lol. reeeeally dont like them.
So much cherry picking in this to fit their narrative. Talk about losing WR’s but don’t mention returning 9 of the 2 deep for offensive line and a projected top 5 pick at LT. So does offensive line play not matter now?
@@LockedOnSEC 1. Brooks missed the final 4.5 games last year and the running game was fine 2. Baxter should be improved as he was only a true freshman 3. It’s not just Baxter at running back. Jaydon Blue is a total dual threat back and is the fastest running back in the NCAA (this can be verified as he hit the highest top speed of any RB last season). They will likely split touches evenly so to discount the impact of Blue is completely ignorant.
@@NewYearsMixDDS2012 Yes, RB is one of the least of Texas' worries. I think most of Texas issues are on defense. Will the D line and secondary be good enough? The secondary should be better but that was Texas' Achilles heel last year. The D line will not be as good, but Texas might of had the best D line in country last year. I think Texas will be fine in both areas but will have to outscore some opponents. Texas needs to get a little better on Defense. I am a Texas fan.
@@carlpeterson8182 Bo Davis might be the hardest loss to replace, but I’m really high on Kenny Baker. Losing Murphy and Sweat hurts the interior D line, fortunately the edge position got hugely upgraded. Should have a much improved pass rush, I just hope the drop off in run defense isn’t too much. Secondary worries me. I think they have great players, but it’s the only position coach I’m not sold on. Brooks regresses at his time at Texas. I definitely feel you on the concerns there
This logically fallacy of comparing this Texas team to what they did before this group of coaches and players is killing me. It’s either a purposeful bad take for clicks or they just don’t have critical thinking skills. You can argue a harder conference sure but to say historically Texas hasn’t done this or that when the program is led by different people is just a smooth brain take.
What he's getting at is... as talented as Texas was last year, they still weren't able to go undefeated in the Big12. Now, you lose a lot of talent to the draft, which Texas isn't used to doing. And they expect to pick up where they left off and hopefully go 11-1 again. And since there's no precedence of Texas possessing this ability in the Big12. Somehow, they'll all of a sudden possess this ability in the SEC... against tougher opponents. He's not saying that it can't happen. He just needs to be able to see it first. Or in his words, "Chill Out." At least that's what I took away from what he said.
These dudes don’t realize how programs change and Texas coaches are SEC coaches and Texas is going to treat every game as a you disrespected me type of game! One by one!🤘🏽🤘🏽
Bruh why are the SEC homies acting all scared? Texas has not played one game as a member of the SEC and all of a sudden you expect the conference to beat Texas. LMAO. @@panchogeorocks yet they made little Nicky retire. I love drinking trailer park trash tears. Texas never lost to Baylor or TCU so you lose credibility there. The end of the Mack era and all of Strong and Herman's time, there was not a lot of player developement. With Sark, the past 2 years have seen guys get better. Perfect example is Christian Jobes. He was terrible. Last season he was really good and got drafted. Plus Sark knows the SEC and has built his team as an SEC type team. The big tine recruits+great coaches+player developement+Sark really and truely knowing himself and who he is as opposed to his times at UW all equal TEXAS being up there. Also Sweat and Murphy were always as good as they were last year.
Lifelong Rebel fan here. Why do people place so much emphasis on the past?? What happened 15 years ago or last season just doesn't matter. Teams win when they are loaded with talent and have good coaching. Period. Doesn't matter that a team 7 years ago performed poorly in this or that stadium. Most of these young men don't even know what happened. Every season is a new start. As for Judkins: Yes. by all means he's a talent. But we don't have to replace him. We just have to replace his production. And IMO we will. Bentley had a larger ypc than Q last year, and Parrish is an excellent back. Heck, OM has a walk on that could start for many non-SEC teams. The biggest wildcard is Dart. He absolutely MUST stay healthy or all of this is out the window. With his willingness to truck LBs and CBs I have my concerns about that.
Die hard UT fan here, that said I don’t think we’ll just walk in and own the place. And UT fans absolutely don’t have a lack of respect and if we did, who cares! Fans don’t play the game. Either way it sounds like these 2 have set themselves up nicely to be able to say either 1: “see, we told you they’re overrated!” Or 2: “well they only ran the table because of an easy schedule…”
It is interesting they keep commenting on the last 10 years or since 2010. What about the 10 years before that? What about Bama from 1997- 2007? They had 3 10-win seasons and 4 losing seasons. And a couple of others in which they were barely above .500. Every team has bad streaks. And sure none of the many standout receivers Texas will have in 2024 could gel with Ewers. Some of have already played with him at Texas but they could all not have chemistry. And even though they have talent on the D-line they do not have as much as last year and maybe the talented players they have do not work out and the same for the secondary. But that is true for Georgia also. Nothing says the players filling in for what they lost will automatically be good enough. But the reason why Texas and Georgia are so hyped is that they have very good talent (most of it tested talent) on all sides of the ball. These teams do not seem to have large weak areas compared to other teams. Maybe Texas will choke. I do not think they will run the SEC in football. Texas probably will win the most overall NCs like it has. There should be no drop off there. But in football Texas should be in competition or good most years. Winning the SEC is now just tougher than it was before OU and Texas joined and it was tough before. But these guys are not good at analysis.
Maybe the SEC is over hyped. There were two teams in the SEC that mattered for years, Bama and Georgia. all the others were mediocre at best. Maybe better than the Big 12 but still mounted to nothing significant where the Big 12 teams had someone float up and play in the playoffs. Texas is a dog, they have the personnel, coaching and recruiting to be a player for years. They will help bolster the SEC, you should be buying how the SEC is now a better league. Hook'em, be sure and play this garbage video back at years end and be prepared to eat crow. Ewers will be just fine as a college quarterback. Yes we lost 11 players to the draft and have players to fill in. Bunch of jokers talking crap. You guys are the same guys who said Texas had no chance agaianst Bama. Lets roll the tape.
It’s funny how they call Texas not being back cause they don’t go 12-0 each year now (4:32) so how many undefeated season in a row y’all want for y’all to say Texas is back. Cause last time I checked most recent one was with Colt in 2008 if you only count conference play cause Texas lost the natty that year but last time Texas was perfect was with Vince and that was only one season. We had one loss last year to OU at a the RRR(best rivalry in all college sports) but you can say we’re not back but everyone down here in Austin knows and feels something in the air we haven’t felt since the VY days . Side note last time Texas had a one loss season due to losing to OU, Texas won the natty in the greatest college football game ever played. #Hookem
Viewing the comments of the tejas fans, regarding info on this video is interesting to say the least! Both commentators spoke from facts regarding who tejas lost last year, and whom they are bringing in as replacements. tejas, lost a lot of talent last year. More draft picks than any other team for several decades, those are facts! Can tejas replace them? WE WILL SEE!
The SEC propaganda is off the chart! These guys can't cope with any non-SEC school being better than the SEC top dogs. This season, I hope Texas exposes the SEC for being the over-rated conference that it has been for decades.
I'm a Texas fan, I want them to win every game, but, I do agree a little bit with Gordy in that, I think everyone needs to pump the brakes a little.. We've had great teams and big expectations before and we didn't live up to the hype. Now, having said that I do believe something is different under coach Sarkisian.. He does have a great culture in the locker room. He ha been recruiting really good talent and he has some great assistant coaches to work with. I hate that slogan "Texas is back"! Let's wait and see how they play, not just this year, but the next 3 years for me. My take on Alabama is I’m not worried about the offense. Deboer will have our offense looking very polished beyond what people think. I need to see if our new defensive scheme works good enough to be a bend but don’t break defense. On the schedule outside of a few teams most of the teams we play have just as much roster turnover as we do. I’m worried about mizzou and Oklahoma more than Tennessee and lsu. Tennessee defense is all new players and lsu has a pocket passer and who knows if their defense will be any good this year. RTR
I'm a Texas fan bro..I have real life spread offense syndrome due to Mike Leach and the big 12..Bama will not skip a beat..If anything they will become more of a match up problem..With the athletes on campus in that offense...Only problem you MIGHT have is scoring too fast..But then again look at how you recruit defensively..It's a freak show two deep...Plus Deboer is recruiting lights out...
We have a winning record against every SEC team except Vandy. In the last 4 years, we're 2-2 against the top SEC teams, Georgia & Alabama, in years when one or the other of the two teams won the SEC. Outside of Georgia and Alabama, Texas has the highest rated average recruitment class in the SEC for the past 4 years. If Texas loses to any team in the SEC, it will be by 1 score. Texas will blowout a fair number of SEC opponents this year given the explosive players they have on offense. Good luck to the SEC homers. Texas is a talented team.

Why do y’all say it’s hard to win in the SEC? Georgia or Alabama go undefeated every year! They both did this year! Bama’s only loss was to Texas and Georgia to Bama. Those two teams do it every year! Texas is built to beat those two teams! Kentucky 😮is no match Kentucky is like playing Kansas and I would pick Kansas over Kentucky
These two fools don’t realize that Texas couldn’t recruit offensive and defensive linemen until it was announced they were moving g to the SEC. Since that announcement look at the difference in the offensive and defensive lines. That’s the difference. Texas has always recruited skill position player, but not linemen. Texas is strong and DEE0 in the trenches on both sides of the ball now. That’s the difference. Do your homework guys!
Was this supposed to be analysis? Because all I heard was "Texas hasn't been consistently good in a long time, therefore they won't be good this year". Pretty lame.
Correct. Texas hasn't won back to back 10 win seasons since 2009 under Mack Brown. Sark would have to do something that hasn't been done in 15 years. Not impossible, but history not on his side. Let's check back in December!

Considering Texas has more talent than every team they’ll face but Georgia I got Texas going 11-1. I’m not going to just assume they’ll beat themselves or just not show up one game. Desperate for takes and content, clearly. The last 15 years are obviously irrelevant. We all see what he's built. I'm sure you know this and are just trying to get views.
Quit crying about an easy schedule , when you were mute on Georgia’s infantile schedule of last season. Just say it with your chest - that you don’t like Texas !
I’m a longhorn fan and ever since their last championship appearance it’s hard to believe any hype from them. So many years they have the hype but they never live up to it. Also Texas is the same kind of team that would beat Georgia and finish the year with 1 loss, but that loss would be to Vanderbilt. Lol
You'd have to look at the UT roster. Xavier Worthy was a 4-star that we got at the last minute. He was our only WR. This year, we have depth at almost every position. Those who know the roster think it's a better roster this year than last year.
Do you really think 1 school has more arrogance than an entire conference based on slapping eachothers asses and bragging about how good every other team is in the conference because their specific school sucks?
Texas not playing a Big12 schedule is beneficial for the Longhorns. Texas is still trying to secure their secondary, the only proven QB they play all year is Carson Beck. The Big12 was full of offensive minds and competent QBs. Texas one weakness may not be tested at all with this SEC Schedule.
Yes, I was a little bummed last year when I saw Texas was playing Washington and not Michigan. Texas matched up much better against Michigan and Alabama last year. Washington's strength was Texas' weakness.
Lane kiffins downfall has always been his ego and immaturity. If he can channel his inner Nick Saban and not make boneheaded going for it on unnecessary 4th downs he’ll be good this year. Lane just had to allow his talent to win for him and not his ego. Simple game plans and make the boring but right decision to just punt that dang ball. And hope Pete Golding decides not to blitz both inside backers repeatedly lol 😂
Ewers had exactly 1 td pass of 20 yards or more his whole career before the bama game. Let me hear how somehow he’ll do better after losing their key WRs
There is always a chance at a step backwards or neutral. One good year happens a lot. UT comes with a swag they are tops but since it has been a while last year would prime a lot of hype quickly. I think a neutral year, similar to last minus 5% for whatever that means is probably accurate.
@@wizarddragon Texas has the 10th ranked Strength of Schedule in the country going into the season
Oklahoma is beating texas again.

Great offensive line lead by kelvin banks and 3 other returning starters. Great RB room with ced Baxter watch out for there freshman rb Gibson out of IMG he’s special. Deep WR room Isaiah bond is a beast, then they got all 5 stars and other experienced guys.

None of that is at issue here, though. That is. other than these are things that Texas and Oklahoma may have heard about , but have yet to experience.
It's the whole premise that the mid teams in the Big 12 are similar to the mid teams in the SEC, which had me wondering what they're smoking.

@@LockedOnSEC
1. Brooks missed the final 4.5 games last year and the running game was fine

3. It’s not just Baxter at running back. Jaydon Blue is a total dual threat back and is the fastest running back in the NCAA (this can be verified as he hit the highest top speed of any RB last season). They will likely split touches evenly so to discount the impact of Blue is completely ignorant.

I think Texas will be fine in both areas but will have to outscore some opponents. Texas needs to get a little better on Defense. I am a Texas fan.
@@carlpeterson8182 Bo Davis might be the hardest loss to replace, but I’m really high on Kenny Baker. This logically fallacy of comparing this Texas team to what they did before this group of coaches and players is killing me.

#Hookem

This is an another pod cast hater of TEXAS THEY JUST HATE THAT TEXAS IS GOOD. Make up your mind is the league tough or is Texas not good. He say that Texas will not make the playoffs. I recorded his statement to play it back to him lol😂
Ewers is quite elite with Sark calling the plays in the huddle. Top tier oline. Stop talking past decade. Sark developed 5-7 to CFP3 in three years with a great staff and they are churning top five classes every year. People really need to be worried about Longhorn future.
Considering Texas has more talent than every team they’ll face but Georgia I got Texas going 11-1. I’m not going to just assume they’ll beat themselves or just not show up one game. I got them beating Georgia. Sark knows that defense inside and out. Beck is a pocket passer I feel Texas will sack him or pressure him a lot.
Ever heard of Texas A&M?
@@justinthomas7313 i haven’t evaluated texas A&M yet. Love the coach though. I don’t think weigman is an actual dude. I’ve never been high on him. I feel like he’s a mistake waiting to happen a lot of times.
@justinthomas7313 What does that have to do with Texas?..Aggie would be lucky to have 12 ten win seasons in their entire 100yr football history.....Texas ain't aggie..
@@justinthomas7313🤣
@@justinthomas7313half of A&M's '22 class is gone.
Like most Longhorn fans I'm looking forward to seeing what happens on the field to my team. Not sorry about the optimism. Hook'em!
Big facts on Texas.
Kentucky will win more games this year than Texas A&M and then TAMU will realize they should have hired Mark Stoops. He’s a damn good coach.
The scheduleling process really needs to be investigated.
Texas has the 10th ranked Strength of Schedule in the country...I agree. These weak four game SEC non-conference games are a joke
I only care to know whether the selection process makes sense.
What are you waiting for? Quit whining and get to work.
@@Mark-zx2bqplaying Michigan is a joke mark?

"Well coached Kentucky team".😅🤣😂😭😅😂🤣😭.....😅😂🤣😭😅😂🤣😭...😐
Both Oklahoma and Ole Miss will lose at Florida.
Naw🤦♂️
Georgia will struggle on the defensive line until the second half of the year.
I think you have the media and the fanbase confused
Texas DID (if you ever follow them) replace most of the talent they lost in the draft through the portal! The receivers they got including 5 star Wingo, and Collins might be be better than who left. Granted the DL and Db's will need maturing, but I have no worries about the offense.
I’m sorry, but saying that Ulysses Bentley isn’t going to perform on par with Judkins is outrageous.
Judkins averaged 5 yards per carry in 2023, with 3 touchdowns.
Bentley averaged 5.7 yards per carry with 4 touchdowns.
Gee, I wonder who’s better?
Longhorn fan here. Respectfully, stop your false reporting stating Longhorn fans basically state Horns are going to be #1, 2 or 3 in the SEC immediately. NO SIR! Longhorn fans are extremely elated to be in the SEC and looking forward to good, fair & impartial competition! (Something we did NOT get the final 4 seasons in (“ The Petty 12”)👎🏻👎🏻 Let’s get it on, GO SEC!! Hook’em 👊🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸
Texas has never lacked for talent! It has always been Culture! Toughness! Accountability! Here's my proof! 1st and goal at the 1 yard line at the RR! 2,3,4th! Turnover on downs!
Ummm, K State, Tcu, has won as many conference titles during that time in the big 12, 24 yrs, Oklahoma 14, 10 win seasons? Not comparable with Oklahoma, not saying Oklahoma is winning the sec, we Sooners understand and Relish the fact its a grind. But Before the Saban led sec came to fruition it was the Big 8, the big 12! Oklahoma, Nebraska, was the now Bama, Georgia,
These TX whiners are funny.
Y'all not in the 12 no more. Ain't nobody gonna give you a damn thing.
SEC fans that follow the game respect their opponents. Of course we all talk shit in support of our teams. That's part of the fun. IDK, feels like a lot if Knoxville DNA around Austin.
If y'all don't know Knoxville has been known as the home of whinylilbitches for a long time.
It's not a title y'all want.
They wanted Texas to walk into the secsec and get their hat handed to them, and they suspect it's not going to go that way. That makes them sad. Now, I'm a Texas fan, and there is a possibility it goes a little sideways and we get left out of the playoffs. Our strength was up the middle defense last year. Those guys are all gone. You don't replace 2 AA DTs and a ConfDPOY MLB easily. If the middle of your defense is elite, it makes the rest of the defense's job much easier; and when it's bad, it makes the rest of the defense's job much harder.
There's your path, haters. Til next time... Hook 'em
Texas is always overrated. Three big 12 championships in 28 years is abysmal. Manning is a 3 star with a 5 star name. He’ll end up at Tulane. Sark is a below.500 head coach and an alcoholic. They might win 9 games.
The level of disrespect is hilarious 😂
What happened in the last 8-10 years has no bearing on today’s team. New athletic director, coaching staff. Team also way more re-tooled in trenches. Then u throw in NIL, unlimited resources and SEC league change. Did u guys bother to study their team depth? There’s a reason pre-seasoned ranked #3.
Had a hard time talking when yall brought up ole miss and what kiffin has done there. Immediately went to bashing kiffin on his past programs and what ole miss hasn’t been able to do. Like no one knows ole miss hasn’t played for a national championship, we know and we are well aware of that. Oh they haven’t beat lsu @lsu since 2008. Those are just stats and idk how many coaches they’ve been through since that game. It’s a new yr, got some great talent, the offensive is gonna be unstoppable m, the defense will be more improved. The floor for this ole miss team is easily 10-2. And here’s another bit of information or advice if you will, just shave your head bc that comb over is ridiculous
I believe the lower teams, even Vanderbilt, will be better. These teams may not be all 6 and 6. Some will be better on the field than in the standings. OU and Texas will have adjustments. Mizzou first came had success because the league at that time was dowm. As a Mizzou fan I'll take it. Theleague is way tougher now.
The steers only had 10 good yrs in the Big 12 the whole damn time they was there but now all the sudden they have 1 good yr and they are the Texas of the 00s lmao ive been hearing Texas is back for yrs especially afrer Herman came in all i know is outside of the mid 90s we've been a team that contends but somehow where the team thats the middle of the road SEC team lmao Boomer Sooner 14 Big 12 titles to 4 says it all the Big 12 ran thru Norman bro Yeah this aint the Big 12 but OU wins plain an simple and that aint changing just because we move conferences
This Chris Marler guy makes lazy arguments. He’s clearly looking at a pff or a Wikipedia page just reading off strange stats that have no correlation to this coach or team. He talks about some teams that aren’t even under the same athletic director. Lazy lazy lazy
Can't imagine being that upset by factual numbers and statistics hahaha
@@FourthAndWrongCFB when you sit there and talk about stats from another athletic directors time, it’s not actually applicable. But hey, do what’s best for your channel, Texas went from 5 to 8 to 12 wins. Texas ranks 4.5 on the recruiting rankings from the last 4 years (only Bama and Georgia rank higher). Quinn made a huge leap from 60 to 70% completion in year two. But let’s not mention things that all point to growth. Let’s point to a time when Charlie strong and Tom Herman had Tyrone swoops and Shane buechele at qb.
I agree 100% about Sark and Texas. No rings since the SEC was left out, BTW, neither texas or SukkCal would have beaten auburn that year. They were voted that title
Yes, Texas A&M will be up for the UT game regardless of schedule regardless of win-losses. Same with Texas. Texas currently leads the series 76-37-5.
I understand this is supposed to be a hot take… but they are acting like Texas is going to suck lol! Kansas has been head and shoulders above Vanderbilt. Then they talk about having a favorable schedule, that way they have built in excuses later in the season. It’s very apparent these guys do not follow Texas.
So we can’t talk about how good Texas season was last year because it don’t carry over but we can talk about Charlie strong and Tom Herman’s teams under performing 5-8 years ago an it’s relevant?
Texas lost 11 guys to the draft & they still think they have more talent than their daddy, Oklahoma? 😂😭🤣😭😂
Texas is definitely back! The hype machine that is 🤘🏽👇🏾
Desperate for takes and content, clearly. The last 15 years are obviously irrelevant. We all see what he's built. I'm sure you know this and are just trying to get views.
Quit crying about an easy schedule , when you were mute on Georgia’s infantile schedule of last season.
Just say it with your chest - that you don’t like Texas !
Good Lord this was embarrassing to listen to. I can’t believe some of the ridiculous hoops they jumped through and the contradictions are astounding.
Texas is overhyped, overrated, over valued each and every year.
Only 4 Big 12 Championships compared to 14 won by OU.
Chris sounds like a hater. They are hoping Texas ain't back. The SEC would loo 8:29 k bad if Texas comes in and kick ass. 🤘🏾
Dude must not know AARKANSAS stomped texas last time we played. Watch your mouth about the hogs
I agree with u on Texas but Ole Miss?! Gordy is gonna bave to eat his words this year with what he is saying about ole miss, i truly believe.
Texas arrogance vs SEC pride
Do you really think 1 school has more arrogance than an entire conference based on slapping eachothers asses and bragging about how good every other team is in the conference because their specific school sucks?
Contrary to popular misconceptions fostered by our voluminous haters. We are a benevolent overlord. We will keep you all safe and warm in our shadow.
Secondary will be much improved this season...Can't label this team based on last years performance..Lotta new faces in Secondary
@@inhouseatx Good points. I agree. I worry about the DL and secondary both. I think in the end both will be okay but not strong points.
These two know NOTHING about football. Just a couple or talking heads
Lots of hurt horn fans in the comments lol I’m just glad these other programs get to deal with their delusion now. Oklahoma fans are tired 🥱
Ewers had exactly 1 td pass of 20 yards or more his whole career before the bama game. Let me hear how somehow he’ll do better after losing their key WRs
We didn’t make the schedule guys. When we win the SEC then what will you have to say?
They need to be careful Arkansas looks like everybody puts them up as a win. Arkansas will be a lot better
I just get this feeling that these guys are rooting for a so-called “Cinderella” to make some noise this college football season?
There is always a chance at a step backwards or neutral. One good year happens a lot. UT comes with a swag they are tops but since it has been a while last year would prime a lot of hype quickly. I think a neutral year, similar to last minus 5% for whatever that means is probably accurate.
Texas play will shut y'all up because the past is the past and texas time is NOW!!
This one video has more Ls than Texas had throughout the entire 2010s decade.
