I always wonder, how do people come up with names for instrumental songs? Like what about this song made you think, “hmm, I should call this song Rule 34”
I think that while they were making the song, they lost track of time, and didn't realize they missed out a lot of time during the time when they were making the song, and then they went to watching literal rule 34 videos then lost track of time, then stopped then compared both times when they lost track of time, then realized "hey. If people get so caught up in watching rule 34 videos that they lost track of time, like how people who are so caught up in their work on projects like songs and stuff that they also lose track of time, then how about I name this song "rule 34"? Because both the videos and this song project consumed so much of my time." And named the song "rule 34"
I think that opening guitar work is reminiscent of Acoustic Brony’s style, especially in “Spectrum”. Love it! This is such a cool song. The bouncy electric guitar-drum-synth mixture is just lovely. It has a beautiful opening and build up to a excellent hyper beat, and then the way it transitions to a soothing echoey piano melody at 1:39 and then additively rebuilds back up to its energetic base rhythm is all done so smoothly that I could cry. If audio can be aesthetic, this is what that is. I can’t believe this is actually an unfinished song that’s been extended with editing, because it’s perfect. One of the best tunes that I’ve ever heard really. It also does sound very Rainbow Dash, so the artwork complements it well. I wish this was on Spotify.
