I'm sharing my reaction to BINI's "Salamin Salamin" with fellow Temper Tantrum members Max and Noelle. After our group reaction, I dive deep into analyzing the choreography, breaking down the elements that make this performance so captivating.
What I liked in the group reaction:

What I liked in the choreography analysis:
1. The intriguing starting position that immediately captures the audience's attention, using intertwined pinkies and various facing directions to create an eye-catching composition.
2. The strategic use of asymmetrical formations and member placements to guide the viewer's eye and keep the performance engaging, such as consistently shifting the artists' positions on stage.
3. The incorporation of simple yet memorable moves, like the "peek-a-boo" hand gesture, which fans can easily learn and recreate, fostering a connection between the artist and the audience.
4. The effective use of constraints, such as the repeated "bunny ears" motif, to inspire creativity and showcase multiple variations of the same move.
5. The mastery of performance skills, particularly the use of facial expressions and eye contact, to convey confidence and playfulness throughout the choreography.

Just came back from the first Bini's Concert (Day 1). I swear. Their performance as a team and individually are all top notch - whatever you see from all their previous appearances were just a fraction of what they have shown in their concert. And they just performed their latest single, Cherry on Top, too! These girls are soaring high!

True, I’ve seen them perform multiple times and they never failed my expectation. They are very good and synchronized.
The volleyball videos for Mikha were probably from when she played volleyball for the Star Magic All Star Games, where BINI also did a half-time show.
Blooms are kinda busy on that day. It’s their first solo concert during that time. You might wanna move it earlier. Just a tip. 😊
ABS CBN have this yearly event called Star Magic All Star Games where all their artists and some guest players and artists play sports like Volleyball, Basketball and previously they had Badminton, Golf. Basically just a 1-day event.
Mikha being part of Star Magic (artist management under ABS CBN) played Volleyball.
And each game, fans vote which artist will have their dedicated fan cams in which for volleyball, fans voted for Mikha.
This year is Mikha's 3rd year of playing in Star Magic All Star volleyball game.
Prior to this, I don't think she was playing professionally but 1-2 months before this all star games, they have coaches and professional players to train them.
Mikha is the team's setter.

this one particularly just gets me because the lyrics in that part is telling someone that they'll just wait for them to walk by first before they make a move (Maghihintay na lang na ika'y dumaan = I'll just wait for you to walk by) and that's precisely what Maloi and Colet does, they wait for the other members to get into formation before going into theirs. it's so simple but i find it really cool.

Mikha played Volleyball alongside other celebrities for abs-cbn's Allstar Games where celebrities play sports.
Bini’s has three main choreographers/dance coaches whom are Matthew Almodovar, Reden Blanquera and Mickey Perz.

In the Philippines, volleyball is as popular as basketball. It's so popular that we yearly stream intercollege vball competition (UAAP) live and thousands and thousands of people will watch it.
