This is great, but a close 2nd for me is the scene when Link plays the Song of Healing to save Pamela's Father in Gibdo Town. When they reunite, it's so very emotional, and the Song of Healing playing in the background makes it 10x more emotional.

They give that melancholic chime, telling the player how dark and depressing Majora's Mask really is.
Fun fact: Tatl's "bell" sound at 0:52 is actually a toy xylophone sample pitched down.

The first time I watched this scene I was stunned... I waited so long to play this game, I was 12 when it came out but I couldn't play it until I was 16. I had a rough idea of what this game would be like just by reading magazines and looking at the art style, I knew there was something eerie about it, the game didn't look like a joyful and heroic fantasy like OoT, this game seemed different and when I finally got to play it, it blew my mind, it was everything I was expecting and more. When I watched this scene I imediatelly knew I was in for a treat.

I much prefer the N64 graphics for Majora's Mask. They suited the surreal and eerie atmosphere of the game much better, especially in these scenes. I feel like that aspect was lost in the 3D version. It just didn't quite feel like Majora's Mask. The graphics for the 3D remakes suited Ocarina of Time just fine, but not Majora's Mask. I feel like you have to play the original version of this game for the best experience.

Imagine: BOTW2 - By some crazy twist, Link discovers the ocarina of time, and it becomes crucial in the final fight against Ganondorf/Ganon - reforms as a gigantic (even more so than BOTW1’s) final monster - and the only way to cut him down to size is by playing this song again and summoning some old friends who somehow break barriers from Termina and come to Hyrule... Also, special guest appearance by Navi, Tael, Tatl, Midna, and Fi! That would make my heart smile gleefully.

Is that pitched down a quarter step? I'm trying to play along on a keyboard and things sound a little wonky.
