SGB Highlights: SMB3 Elliot Death Montage

- Inspired by NickonAquaMagma's compilation of Elliot's death montage in SMW, I decided to do something very similar to the SGBs' run of SMB3. Not as many deaths, but I made sure to include them all, with a few exceptions here and there.

To his credit, Elliot at (the very) least managed to defeat a Boom Boom. And like Johnny stated, it was the VERY last one, right before Bowser's Castle. It's something...
I hope Elliot wasn't dying so much just for entertainment.

To be fair, now that Mario 35 has been released, it's astonishing how often people die by the first Goomba in 1-1
Emile got killed by a Goomba a few times as well
Oh Elliot. You can play every genre well, but platformers are you're one weakness. With the exception of limbo.
What is Limbo?
Skeeter Mania an artsy puzzle-platformer where the art style is minimalistic, but adds to the atmosphere of a world that wants you dead.
But he cleared the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed

It's moments like these where I feel genuinely sorry for Elliot and his bad luck with platformers.

I think I can safely tell the difference since I've played Mario since 1992. I sucked at first... but I was four.

To answer Johnny’s mushroom quandary, in Mario 3, the mushrooms travelled depending on where you hit the block. If you hit it dead center or on the left, it travels to the right as normal. If you hit the block on the right, it travels to the left.

Johnny needs to find the Mario 3 instruction manual and read it. It explains the mushroom and star direction changes.

Why do the deaths at 16:48 and 17:02 match the audio so well
I didn't think anyone could play this game worse than Emile, but congrats Elliot, you found a way.

To be fair, Emile has never played old school games like we do. He started with the GameCube & to Pokemon and others. So he's trying to get into games he missed on.

Wow, Johnny really doesn't understand why the Mushrooms sometimes go _left_ instead of right after emerging from a block?
Gosh, even I knew, back in the day, that it all depends on which side you hit the block. (Hit the left side/corner, and it goes right. Hit the right side/corner, and it goes left. Simple, really.)
I figured this out when I was five, the only explanation I can find to him not realizing it is that he doesn't play this game as much as other Mario games.
But I THINK the entire All Stars set had the SMB3 logic for items (haven't played them in a long time)/
Why are you capitalizing mushroom? It's not really necessary.
