Thanks for this great video of the things you enjoy while working in the parlor and the fields. Incredible drone footage of the awesome number of straw bales in one field! You should pick a the best frame shot from the drone footage and have it enlarged as a reminder of this blessed year of harvest. 😊
Nice to see pictures from the parlor and barn again. Fall rye is ideal for sandy soil. 150,000 hectares of fall rye are grown on the sandy soils in Brandenburg/East Germany, where winter wheat doesn't grow properly. The farmers say "only rye and pine trees grow in the Brandenburg desert." Greetings from Germany, David.
@@eldonhoward7925 Germany is one country, but in the eastern part, the former GDR, many people attach importance to being different from the western part. In agriculture, this is very clear for historical reasons. In the west there are only small and medium-sized family-run farms. In the east it is very heterogeneous, some small and medium-sized family-run farms and the majority of medium and large agricultural cooperatives and agricultural companies. Jan it is so nice to have something come along and surprise you in a positive way and bring in some unexpected money to help with all the stuff that cost you during the year.
The number of bales is impressive. You were wise to check the bearings. No one needs a fire in the field. Your drone shots put things into perspective. You even managed to get the grain elevators from Asquith in one of the pictures. Thank you.
My eyes bulged when I saw your sister driving your precious truck. So glad you were willing to let her use it. I’m sure she will treat it better than your dad did 😮. Won’t forget that test drive anytime soon.

LOVE LOVE to see the ladies you have such open spaces in your SASK. what a crop of straw. From (Southern ONTARIO) not used to seeing such large crops. Very happy for your family.
So very happy for you and your dairy farm family! Also love the drone shots of fields you are bailing. It indescribable the emotions l felt just watching it, l can only imagine how over powering it is to stand in the mist of your fields. Grateful and thankful I’m sure.😮🙏🏻
8:26 Letting your sister drive your truck!!! 😮 From experience, I can tell you that does not always end well!💥 Glad your having such a great year with the crops. They’re all looking, and yielding awesome.❤
I would say that your family is blessed to gave those kinds of bushels per acre. Very fortunate for you, and you may be selling some of it to another not-so-fortunate farmer. Make hay while the sun shines and after the rain falls!
The yield from the hybrid fall rye sounds incredible! 121 bushels per acre is no joke. Thanks for sharing your experience with different crop varieties and their benefits. 😍😍😍
So glad to see you and the farmers in USA are have a better harvest this year!! Thats alot of bales couple weeks just hauling them back huh??? But not a bad problem t o have!!! Stay safe and harvest on!!
wow Jan your crops are looking awesome this year I'm very happy for you guys keep up the good work be safe and healthy GOD BLESS THE FARMER HELLO from east central new york , Vermont border love your videos bud thanks
Jan, I can understand your thoughts on liking all aspects of the farm. I worked for over 33 yrs at the same job, but my tasks were never the same everyday so I never became bored, nor burned out😊
And later, you will have to come out to pick them all up and bring them into the yard for winter storage. Farm work never really ends. But having a great yield makes it worthwhile, despite the extra work.
Another outstanding video, Jan. Great to see the dairy again. Yes, I can see you are an outstanding all around farmer. The size of those vales! Unbelievable. SO HAPPY to have these videos again. You are second to none young man.
Hi, Jan, Jeff here, your favorite fan and Dairy farmer from Pennsylvania...been working, including milking this morning, hence me being late commenting til now, but love your videos and appreciate all you and the family do up there in Sas!
At around 12:50 give or take a little is an amazing artistic photo from the Drone- you should frame that- beautiful work- thanks you for feeding the rest of us!
You are going to reference back to 2024 as the year it all came together for some time. Until of course you have a better year which I hope happens again real soon. The density of bales on those fields is a sight to behold, there has to be a calendar or a blow up picture there somewhere. The quint essential prairie picture for sure.
A very interesting video we sure enjoyed it it was good , get to see the cows and the milking parlor again grandmother was very happy to see you looking all handsome and shaved

Looks like you’ll be hauling bales back to the farm for a while.. I live near Syracuse NY and we couldn’t dream of getting those yields even in wheat straw… great video..
The Case II seems to consistently make good looking bales. Thanks for another enjoyable video!! With respect to another theme, your sis and mom's cheese business. An update would be nice in the future. Will the cheese be available in the US?
