I think the thing that makes it so sad is that a good portion of the League are just people who got pushed out of society. Spinner was pushed out for having a quirk that made him look different. Toga was pushed out because society thought her quirk was weird. And rather than help her, they thought it would be better not to look at her. Twice was someone who just had bad luck one day and life continued to kick him while he was down so he couldn't get back up. And Shigaraki was literally a lost kid who hundreds of adults decided to ignore when he needed help. Everyone rejected them and told them they didn't matter. So they all accepted each other and became a family. This episode was rough.
Shigaraki was also physically and mentally abused by his father, I believe.

Imagine what an Amazing Hero Twice could have become if he was simply dealt a better hand and gone down a better path in life…..
I think this is one of my favorite things about MHA is that yea these are people with Superpowers, but they’re still people!!
He could have been one of the best ones. I mean if he was a good guy other heroes probably would have let him use his quirk on them. Imagine when things get rough Twice just pops up and summons a thousand All Mights or Endeavors or heck, even a thousand Eraser Heads to stun all the bad guys. His quirk really is one of the most broken quirks in the whole show.
People hating Hawks for the things he did are seemingly forgetting that if he didn't go undercover, Japan would be fucking nuked by Shigaraki alone

Props to Twice's VA, he's done a hell of a job this episode (and in general). It was really surprising seeing one of the focus points of the previous season just go out like this, I honestly didn't expect for Twice of all people to die this early in the season if at all. Btw, EP2 seems missing, what happened to that?
The worst part on twices death is that he couldn't even give the handkerchief back, say toga goodbye and say that he is sorry.

Because of spoilers and without context, I used to hate Hawks as "the guy who killed Twice"

I remember I was spoiled by Manga readers back in season 4 that Hawks was a traitor, and I had to wait until season 5 started airing to figure out he was a double agent. Kinda wished they kept people thinking he was a traitor for a couple of episodes lol

I think one of the reasons for the hatred towards Hawks is that he is a representation of the heroes that only now that the league became a threat they decided to offer them help or try to save them and for The League of Villains it's already too late

Do you remember thief Takami (that one criminal caught by Endeavor years ago) from season 5??? Ending was thinking to himself about Endeavor catching thief Takami when he was stalking the Todoroki family outside their house and kidnapped Natsuo after the disastrous Todoroki family dinner episode...
Hawks's name is Keigo Takami... 👀
Now think about it... a thief named Takami (similar to Hawks's last name) caught by Endeavor and Dabi knows Hawks's real name... 👀

Wow.... I cried so much...everything was incredible whether it was the animation, the ost but the ost what... ! !!!!
pfff amazing! The "thank you for saving me" of himiko finished me already in the scans I couldn't believe that he was dead, and this episode reminded me that I was in denial if I can say like that.....
And it's since that moment that I hate hawks for what he did because after all for me the basis of the hero is not to kill and that in no way to save lives while he takes one (from my point of view of course😅even if I hear that it's better one than thousands of death but it's very hard😔) moreover hawks was the fastest, he could neutralize him without killing him but took the "easy" way which is to kill if an enemy is a problem.
I even wonder if it was deku instead of hawks because we all know deku is a crazy altruist would he have found a way to stop twice without reaching the same end as hawks?
Anyway this episode gave me a slap in the face... I'm now waiting for something between two characters and I'm really looking forward to see the animation of this one !

“We’re heroes, guys, yk?” No. hawks at least isn’t. Tricking somebody, leading them on, lying to them, betraying them, killing them, this wasn’t self defense or anything, was unmistakably murder, those are not the actions of a real hero. This ep made me cry, guess i liked Twice more than i thought, and increased my hatred for “heroes”.
The things that you said are the things that hawks need to do to reduce on being suspected and sometimes a hero need to do those things if the villain do that alot of people will accept it because that is what they are but if the heroes do it its bad fool

And this is why I hate Hawks with a passion. The second you kill someone you are no longer a hero regardless of reasoning it makes you a hitman. People say Hawks had no choice but I can guarantee All Might, Deku, Bakugo, and other wouldn't have killed a man.
Hawks isn't a hero, he works for the Public Safety Commission. And you can say what you want, but it wasn't really an option. If Twice goes free the heroes auto lose damn near instantly. It's a morally grey situation, but I think its definitely weighted in one direction

@@123anaya14 You see hammers or something in his hands Or just sharp ass wings? Lol Not only does Hawks just not have anything but sharp weapons, Twice is someone who is either dead or in custody. Hawks probably doesn't even have the physical strength to knock out Twice, and he's too dangerous to try and sit around figuring it out.

The reason the people in MHA are called villains is because they live in a society where they are oppressed and not given a chance, Thanos had the idea that by removing half the universe we could achieve balance and was technically right although his reasons were genocide basically.

Killing a villain is something i understand, but the fact that Hawks kills Twice after hero society failed him hurts because like Hawks said, he is a legitimately good guy who puts others before him. Had society helped him, Toga, Dabi, Shigaraki, etc. None of this would have happened and yet the heroes proudly stomp on villains because they're tired of being called garbage and ignored.
That's the difference between a maniac seeking peace, and a group of people fighting for their lives.

Hawks is the No. 2 pro hero trained by the Public Safety Commission for years now. He could've done anything to stop Twice other than killing him.

You said it then lost it lol. Hawks isn't, and has never been a hero. He's a triple agent, who's actually just working for the Public Safety Commission. He's trained with them since being a child to do whatever they needed him to do.
I see a lot of people hating on Hawks for killing someone but no one mentioning Edgeshot in the same convo. What’s different between what Edgeshot did and what Hawks did? Edgeshot pierced through a lung of multiple villains and said “if you move you die”. Those villains chose not to move. Hawks told Twice that he would help him, gave him a chance. Essentially “if you move you die”. Twice was the one that chose to keep fighting. As sad as it is and as much as I wanted him to become a good guy in the end, I’m all for Hawks killing Twice
Bruh, how was Hawks supposed to stop him without killing? He even says " Those who have strong wills won't lose consciousness." Twice was way too great of a threat, if Hawks had managed to just knock him out (which he says he can't), the moment he wakes up the fight is over, the villains win. Even if he had just kept him restrained in the room, Dabi was 2 seconds away, even after all that Dabi almost managed to get Twice into the action. The heroes were so close to having to face an unstoppable army of Twice clones, you can't take chances when the lives of that many people are on the line.
Also NitenGale, hawks is just a double agent, he was raised and trained by the HPSC from a young age and they had him infiltrate the villains for info, how is that a triple agent? Who is the third party?
I think NitenGale is calling the HPSC the third party. Only thing is the HPSC are the bosses of both the "Heroes" and the police. But, unlike Hawks, they don't tell them everything they intend to have done and leave them in the dark about some things.
Bruh if he wouldn't of killed Twice many other innocent people would have died because of Twice Hawks did the right thing he was under lot of pressure there I mean don't forget Dabi burning lots of his feathers so getting away with Twice was impossible the only way was killing one man to save lots of others.
It's kind of ironic that at the end, Twices trauma came true. Remember that he refused to clone himself because he was afraid of the real him dieing and him being replaced by a clone. And here he is already dead when the clone does what he wanted to do, save his friends, say goodbye, get to spend a final moment with Toga. All of that was the clone, not the real one, just like what he was always afraid of. But now he got to be thankful for it.
