Just put my set on OEM colors and I love them, this video did make me wonder if my front markers had never come on... but I tinkered with the settings well before I touched the side markers but I had the setting to no flash or illumination at all, so it’s hard to remember. Maybe I just want to see all the lights when I’m walking up lol but my 2015 Charger SE (yes a v6 and it’s served magnificently) does the same
I used oracle lighting for my 2020 scat and it’s exactly the same, just red on unlock. And would recommend definitely take off the wheel on a standard body to make it easier.
The lights not turning on is literally all models. Had a sxt then RT now my new Scat. All of them did this. The first time I was pist thinking my front markers were defective
Obviously you've figured it out by now, but the side markers are on the same circuit as the running lights. In the Charger Pursuit, when we activate the front wigwags, the front sides shut off because the car is wigwag'ing the DRL's which are a separate circuit and override the running lights in the front.

Knight's Garage yes. Same operation. I had to remote start my car to test the lights. Since I actually used a lift and took all four tires off to install the mud guards and side marker lights at the same time.

I have this done on my 2015 dodge charger R/T about a year ago it look great, BUT for whatever reason after a week the front stop working I try flipping left right just to see if a cable connection was a issue but no the lights worked inverter, but not at original position anymore. I call the provider I believe was Jmt toy? The guys was cool but they got no idea what is going on i try everything they told me and nothing. They even send me free of charge a front set and I still have the same problem at that point I run out of answers this lights and the other ones work perfectly connected in the rear and in front BUT only inverted ( left on right, right on left) i decided to keep the original back in front. The rear work just fine still working. No clue what was wrong. But I considered buying a front set of Diode Dynamics and see. This cars it should come set with this LED marker.
When you lock or unlock your car only the rear light marker works, that's is fine mine do the same. I never mess with the inside control light..but all the lights works perfectly after you start the car at night.
Orlando Flores You had the oracle lights that went bad. The Dow dynamic light is a much better light. And they carry a three-year warranty. These lights just came out about two days before making this video.

Love your videos! I have a 2020 Charger Scat Pack Widebody and I’m trying to figure out the best way to jack the rear end up on jack stands safely. Do you feel it’s safe for the car to jack it up under the rear diff/pumpkin? I noticed you used the floor jack under there.
F8 HULK I feel that it is as long as you have some rubber or something between the jack and the rear end and it’s relatively flat when it makes contact. I don’t know if you saw in in the video but I use two pieces of an old rubber all weather floormat I have. I just cut two little 6“ x 6“ squares and I put them on top of the jack to go in between the jack and the rear end. You definitely don’t want to break off any of those little cooling fins.
My 2016 Rallye package does the same thing. Their are 3 exceptions that I know of and it is when you auto start on a low overcast day or at night or if you have a sun shade in your front windshield which would be blocking your automatic lights sensor, that they both come on.
In my opinion, I believe it's because most people park pulling into a space. When other vehicles are moving through a parking lot they can see your rear side marker lit and be a little more cautious when passing your vehicle. If you were backed in to a space the front side marker would not need to be lit because your DRL's and/or headlights would be on.
@@KnightsGarage I see what your saying. But if you're pulled in to a space are you or anyone else truly walking up front to see if they're even on. You said it yourself, you didn't even notice that before. The only reason you noticed it now is because you changed the lights.
@@Rondu01 True but they really have no reason to have them operate the way they do. It would have been easier to program the BCM to just have both front and rear come on when unlocking.
I just spent a butt load of money with Dodge only to have them say that my side-marker lights were causing the issue and thus my warranty was denied for the repair and labor. My TMPS light goes off anytime I my headlamps turn on (I have them on Auto) and it seemed random to me. Always the driver front sensor marked as "bad". When the lights are off, the error self-clears. Ugg
@@mconwell It’s a known issue with the LED driver. It only happens to certain year models and certain cars within those year models. Mine was effected. Diode Dynamics has fixed the issue and will replace your side markers with updated ones free of charge.
@@odeivonau the TPMS doesn’t go bad. The LED igniter just interferes with the signal from the sensors. Issue has been fixed now. These look much better than just tinted stock ones.

I have a widebody charger scat none come on when I pick the car I have stock side markers
My Scat pack does the same thing when unlocked. When you remote start it though all 4 will come on.

Has anyone had any problems with the TMPS after installing this?
Know issue. Just send them a message or give them a call and they will send you out a replacement set that have been updated.

So Would it better to just tint the stock ones? Seems that would save the headache of the TMPS going bad
