A very nice grove. If that doesn't move you, not sure what will. I've seen McCray a few times in Chicago & even chatted with him briefly on his break but he's a seasoned cat & knows how to handle drunken idiots who ask "Hey, can I sit in with you." Anyway, he was good about it. I love the blues & have seen many great guitar players & LM is as good as it gets. The "thing" that pushes him over & above most is his singing & then he's got the perfect look of a bluesman. All in all, I'd say he represents the blues as the very highest level. Some cats juse have it & he has it.
