Freelton, Woodstock and Southworks in Cambridge are my 3 go-to antique markets. We make an effort to get to them at least once a year. The Woodstock one has definitely changed over the last couple of years for the better. Thank you for sharing!
So, I learned that history➰️repeats itself with what🗣Michael said about the same thing happening again with the Lando Skiff Guard being a peg warmer...👌🏼💯✔️ There was a lot of great educational takeaways I learned from watching and listening to this video...👍🏼 Awesome❤️place, by the way...🤘🏼

After seeing this video and knowing we'd be travelling back to Ontario from Australia to visit my family in September, we thought we'd make this place a road trip. It was a big drive from where my folks live but definitely worth it ! I said hello to that incredibly enthusiastic guy who greeted us as we walked in and when he asked us how we heard of the place I told him Michael Mercy. Well ... he loved that ! Such a character. With the roadworks, it was a challenge to find parking but I anticipated that thanks to this video. The place is enormous ! What I love is that there is something for everybody there and not just toys, it was the only way my wife was kept happy enough to stay for the couple of hours that we did. My kids both found some treasures there, which we brought back with us. My wife and I had many "Oh I used to have that" moments. I saw things like the old cordless phone we had and probably the most mind blowing was the 2 tone brown Fischer-Price cassette player that I remember having as a kid over 40 years ago. This channel is great and this particular recommendation ended up being a fun road trip for the whole family a couple of weeks ago. Thank you.
Hey Jason, so glad to hear you and your family had a great time, and that you got one of the owner's trademark hearty welcomes. Glad you had a great trip and all got to experience the time machine that this place is. Thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying the channel.
as someone who lives right around the corner from here i can tell you that this place is absolutely amazing! i frequent here about once a month or so and the people that work there are awesome
Worth the drive! There's also a great vintage toy shop right across the bridge in Port Huron called The Prop Shop: th-cam.com/video/iEkPPsOzOpo/w-d-xo.html
I really really enjoyed watching the whole video. We’re going to visit New York somewhere in the future. As this is relatively close (we’re from the Netherlands 😉) we can plan a visit! Thanks for this!!!
if you ever make it to hamilton check hagglers flea market 1565 barton st beside coca cola theres a booth bout halfway just tonnes of vintage the guy has a gnarly beard and tattoos and the other guy always has a hoodie on and shaggy hair and some the coolest toys kenner indiana jones remco mego to much to mention worth checking out these guys are awesome
Aweh man. You were in my booth for about 2 seconds @ 39:49 you looked at my Blue Mountain pottery but none of my toys!! Lol. Its okay, happy to of made the video.
I must of seen like 6 LJN brutus beefcakes on display,,,i've must of went to toy's r us' in the 80's for awhile for one and never got one,,but second handed😂
Thanks for this! Now I have a place to spend MORE money!😂 Sarnhole has nothing but overpriced junk. Having lived in Toronto belt during the 90’s I think I was spoiled. Coming back to Lambton reminded me we have lots of gas, oil, and chewable air… and that’s about it!🤣✌️🤘🇨🇦
Sarnia has a beautuful waterfront though, and Two Amigos has the best wings. 😁 Ever been to the Prop Shop in Port Huron? One of the best vintage toy stores I've ever seen. They have more 82-94 Joes than anyone.
Hi Michael. I just discovered and subscribed to your channel. I have a few questions.1 - You seem to know of Star Trek, so why don't you collect their toys? 2 - What about Bionic 6. They were a favorite show of mine in the 80s and I had all the toys. Did you just not like the show or was there something wrong with the toys? 3 - I live in South Africa, so due to apartheid we couldn't get Transformers here. We could however get Gobots. Some of my favorite childhood toys were my Gobots. Both Bionic 6 and Gobots were mostly made of dicast metal. Is this a reason you don't collect them and does it make them inferior.
Thanks. I have some Star Trek and Gobots. For some shows and movies, I don't need to have a lot or any merchandise from it. Not collecting something doesn't make it inferior, it's just a personal preference. Cheers.

Thanks! Haven't been to Southworks in a long time. Need to check them out again.
@@MichaelMercy I don't think Southworks still exists - at least in it's older location.
This is my go to place since its only 20 minutes away also from the selection
This is so awesome! Thanks for sharing Michael! 🙏😊
Thanks, happy that you enjoyed. Have a good weekend.

Wow, they have TONS of stuff there. Toys, comics, video games...
Great place to walk around, some hidden gems there, thanks Micheal 😊
Nice I’m from London, about 30 minutes from Woodstock. Have to check one out, hoping there’s some good vintage TMNT.
Good video, there is an antique mall close to where I live as well. They have a lot of vintage toys there, and I've picked up a few things there.
Thanks!
On my next day off I'm coming here. Watching from Sarnia.
Worth the drive! There's also a great vintage toy shop right across the bridge in Port Huron called The Prop Shop: th-cam.com/video/iEkPPsOzOpo/w-d-xo.html
@@MichaelMercy Oh wow good to know I will check it out the next time I'm over thanks.
Great fun to do with you, thanks Mike!
Thanks for joining me, always a blast.
Great place, need a good 2 hours to go through it.

Freelton has a few new toy booths from what I saw a couple weeks ago.
Love your channel bro!!!! Keep having fun brotherrrr!!

Well deserved 👍
I've been looking for that Sgt Rock issue at the 5:56 mark of the video.
tracey walter played bob the goon he was a character actor that was in tons of movies in the 80s and 90s he was awesome in repo man.

Hey Michael great video.
Enjoyed it.
Watching this makes me miss my toys when I was a kid. Especially my Hot Wheels diecast cars.
Buy it back👍
I owned a bunch of those Hot Wheels cars. Good times!
When You get them back in your hands, You will travel through time & will remember those days, You will be happy again.
The Red Mercedes Car is from the spain toy company RICO.
Thanks!
Enjoy Ed this 🤠👍
I’m guessing the idea of the blank Garbage Pail kids comic is to take it to cons to get artists to draw a cover for you!
Neat.
I love the dolphe he man movie

We DO have awesome beaches! As for Port Huron; not of late. Pretty much sticking to 1:6 now. Hence my excitement for Woodstock!✌️🤘🇨🇦
it blue mountain pottery they still make it
There’s som Pooh on that chair… that’s unfortunate. 😂😂😂
👍
Also, if you saw a wrestling figure that looks like the joker, that is Doink the Clown.
Nope, the one in this video was a custom LJN repaint of Fred Blassie as the Joker from The Dark Knight.
Hey michael what would you say is your besssst spot for vintage video games that not many people know about in ontario?
I don't collect vintage games but this place has lots.

those boxed toys you were wondering what they were? FunkoPop
We were joking.
@@MichaelMercy ah. Missed that
Whoa, buddy, you just blew past a Hulk 181. I’m guessing it had to have been a reprint, correct?
Not sure. Where in the video did you see it?
Reprint, it had that long thin vertical upc on it
@16:13 16:14
Since it's locked behind glass, it might be not be a reprint. Didn't catch the price on it though. @@Nerdsonearth
Why did you pass up the Gijoe figures
Either didn't want them or already had them.
