Just a thought: the AI changes what they buy in their first turns depending of the cards you buy. Maybe opening Young Witch your second time around made AI play in an non-optimal way, overreacting to your YW? Keep on the good work.
That’s true, I didn’t think that maybe they were reacting to my different opening. I know that even with the same openings they can change strategies depending on how some of the random nature of the algorithm works out, but it’s more likely to be a reaction like you said
