in my experience, the higher the rank the better someone can play a champ mechanically but it come with ego problem. they demand their team to play around them without seeing the map condition and when we dont help they just throw the game. the easiest win i ever got is not with high mechanical team but the team that is chill and try to help each other

First: Respect to anyone who still plays supp consistently. Cause i can't, gives me to much headache. 2: I agree on the supp to carry your games, spammed rakan and did hit GM twice. 3: I don't agree, that all supp items are bad. For the tanks Zeke's Convergence and Abyssal Mask are feeling great, first one even op...if tank supps just wouldnt be so bad. For the enchanters, I do think Stab of flowing water is actually strong. For only 2.5k it provides you up tp 105 ap i think and 40 ah on lv15 + Mana. I build it even in full ad teams just bc it provides me the stats i want most on rakan. 4: A big problem with the supp role in my opinions is the constant debuffs for supps in general. Seriuosly, Riot nerfes supps 5 times more than they buff them, meanwhile champs like lee are broken since season 2 i think... and gets buffed. I used to play a lot Braum , Janna, Lu, Alistar, but all got nerferd. In addition, new items and changes are bad for most supps, for instance divine sunderer and Titan slayer against tank supps. Meanwhile, supps keep on gettings nefs and practically no new items to use. Best wishes and have fun playing the game xd.
I learned the same lesson after having so many lose streaks (about not playing tank/dependent champions) and I'm only in diamond. Honestly from what I remember, the past season was better starting at high emerald+ already where people focused on objectives (and I had decent ADC) and not having mindless team fighting for nothing (granted I only played 68 games last season for dia 5, never played more after that. Got lazy). Seems to be very different this time around that's why I also dropped playing dependent supports. Just hard when your adc facetanks huge ass minions on the early levels and keeps getting caught later on.
Again, thanks for the guide and tips. As a player with main support only, I found it hard to not be potato when mostly my AD and teammates have brain fish. I watched and learn so much from your videos and try to change my champ and builds, it's so much easier now.

I also would like more videos about party or champions counters. Since it's really important about how to counters enemy picks. I just experienced the lose caused by bad choices pick from my team to counter the enemy. But sadly they blame support again..

Thanks for this video! I stopped also now finally playing tanks. Not that it's super frustrating with the new runes - your HP melts like you have no armour or extra HP - no, you have to trust in your random mates (and this you can't, maybe in 1 out of 10 games). As an enchanter, you have a much better life and the chance of good games. With my Thresh, Alistar and Leona I had around 55% win in ranked, now with the switch to enchanter it raised 10 to 15%... LMAO! PS. Spam Nami from zero (bronze) to hero (challenger)!
I love thresh so much but even in diamond noone takes the lantern. It feels soooo bad… so nami/karma for me. Morgana is up there too imo as one that broken didnt mention but has good carry potential
@@drocka36 Yep. Maybe 30% of the players are using the lantern. So sad... And they are wasting a flash etc... Could be so easy sometimes. But as I wrote before, tanks are at the moment not so nice to play. Alistar and Rakan are a bit different. Alistar can soak a lot with his ultimate and Rakan is... Rakan. Quick engage, out... Hard to catch when enemy hasn't so much cc. Nami, Karma and Janna are my picks at the moment. Morgana is also nice. Played her a lot for testing in PVP.

The tips really helped me, recently my 2 teammates pick 2 tanks which is blitz and malp and it's obvious they are trolling we are also lack of range champion so I pick nami and go ap and we able to win the game and I got promoted:DD I wish you get recognize more,keep it up man!

You are completely right about watching who you support. I watched a replay I noticed I died for dumb reason 3x: once for ultimo a tryndamere who didn’t have ult and was overextended when he got caught, once by taking a bad fight at drag instead of just pushing towers, and last death was worse because I saw Cait overextended and gets caught Out again so i ult on her thinking I can help but fall into 4 ppl and die and we lose game. Sometimes you have to be selfish and just play your game, not these potato players.

Decided to play support again and played a thresh game, level 1 my draven flash engaged and died then troll the rest of the game. The enemy was standing inside their minion wave so it was physically impossible to hook them. I’m diamond, Draven was grandmasters. I swear riot just gives out free rank anybody and doesn’t care about individual performance at all.

Will there be cases where you build both at the same time? And would death's dance be a good situational item for thresh? Since it synergizes well with triumph and it gives armor + HP
Hey! Divine makes sense to make the divine + spirit visage combo Vs APS. Vs Ad no, deaths dance only heals when you kill and doesn’t give Hp anymore so I don’t like it

I really like play tanks (Thresh mostly) because they can actually do damage with tank items and sometimes 1v1 squishes. Also catching enemys and engage teamfights l think very powerful ability. Just focus on good teammates

The best players of the game don’t play SoloQ, SoloQ is a Mario party, most players have no idea what they are doing if you follow them you will never get game sense and be hardstuck for ever. I would resume the mentality of 90% of Wild rift players like this: KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL! I’m just to feed now let’s finish the game no fun anymore or DIES, DIES, DIES, fk i can’t get feed this game and have fun, let’s surrender so I can try getting kills next game. GUYS FF YOU SUCK!
Is counterpicking a big factor as a support? For example if they have a Senna, is it okay to choose any other support champ? Or should I counterpick with like a Rakan or Thresh?
Depends on what else you planning on the game. Just to conter might be not enough. If your team has enough engage, maybe you need disengage tools or sustainability or something else
I experience something similar as a main jungler. Teammates don't know how to manage waves to set up ganks neither how to engage and follow up yer they complain you don't help them. Then they keep feeding and once they died so many times they get so scared to go out on the map tbst they farm the jungle nonstop even though they are 0/5 and hopeless. Its si constant feeling that you have to ping all the Time and babysit them every step.
@@BrokenSupport the only times I win with Braum is when I play with an aggressive adc, who also plays very well. I know the adc is good when I have trouble following and he can 1v2 the whole time 🤣

I know how it feel to play with potato team, yeah the spam for supp tank is alot in rank match. i use thresh but not as a tank but as a carry thanks btw, i wanna climb but whatever i do its not enough and seeing the horror you went thru i feel you it must be frustrating as asupport, hopefully post your video about your general openion of each support champions. I really like play tanks (Thresh mostly) because they can actually do damage with tank items and sometimes 1v1 squishes. Also catching enemys and engage teamfights l think very powerful ability. Just focus on good teammates
I believe thresh is the only tank I would recommend to play

I can def relate to that, your adc engaging when they surely shouldn't, or when you play engage champs and when there's an opening and your adc or team just backs the f out like wtf
The best players of the game don’t play SoloQ, SoloQ is a Mario party, most players have no idea what they are doing if you follow them you will never get game sense and be hardstuck for ever.

Is counterpicking a big factor as a support? For example if they have a Senna, is it okay to choose any other support champ? Or should I counterpick with like a Rakan or Thresh?
Depends on what else you planning on the game. Just to conter might be not enough. If your team has enough engage, maybe you need disengage tools or sustainability or something else

I experience something similar as a main jungler. Teammates don't know how to manage waves to set up ganks neither how to engage and follow up yer they complain you don't help them. Then they keep feeding and once they died so many times they get so scared to go out on the map tbst they farm the jungle nonstop even though they are 0/5 and hopeless.
Its si constant feeling that you have to ping all the Time and babysit them every step.

Wow so true, I win most games with Nami (then I get the support role) or Brand. But when I play Braum, I lose most games
Sadly Braum just cannot be played in SoloQ
@@BrokenSupport the only times I win with Braum is when I play with an aggressive adc, who also plays very well. I know the adc is good when I have trouble following and he can 1v2 the whole time 🤣
