SCP 6698 is the Waelt residence's, located in Alabama, USA, second-story bathroom (which includes its door) that has shown to be completely impervious to damage. Its main anomalous feature however manifests when the door to SCP6698 is closed.
When closed while an individual is present within, it will become jammed or locked by unknown causes preventing the subject's exit. Following this, an event that results in the disappearance of the subject occurs and the door unlocks once more when concluded.

I have read cockroaches dislike the smell of essential oils like peppermint, lemon, or eucalyptus, so I put a few drops in the hole of drain water. If you are afraid of cockroaches as much as I do you will appreciate this advice.

Honestly I don't blame him for wigging out about the cockroaches. I raise red runner roaches for my tarantulas to eat and I've seen how gentle they are with each other, and how fastidious they are, but I shriek like a child if they touch me. Giant hairy spider? No problem. One harmless roach? Desperate flailing.

his mistake was throwing the clean shoe. If he'd thrown the shoe with the ichor on it, that might have dived their attention because They eat each other's carcasses. It's best to test this strategy against the first battalion. After that the large toilet lid would be a more effective weapon. Flooding the room by blocking the toilet and sink would be another good way to delay the roaches especially if he could pray over it to try and make holy water.

The narrator is by far the best I've heard, changes to different characters seamlessly whether they are male or female, conveys the emotions and fears of the characters and there's always a bit of humour - I like the bit with the kerfuffled person on the other end of the intercom when the d-class thinks he may have to use the toilet 😂 the voice is just spot on! 👌🏻
I was totally expecting the door to lock behind her as soon as she went in. I thought being sick was going to be a trigger, like with the dead bug initially.
I would not be going into that room, and I certainly wouldn’t risk the door shutting behind me! It’s a wonder she’s made it this far tbh.
Yeah that seemed like a small plot hole. I expected her to throw up in the toilet and for a Friday the 13th ending type scenario where a hand comes from the drain and gives her a swirly.

White vinegar works too and its less easier on old pipes if your house is old.

@Crazy Cherokee. Sulfuric acid gets the job done equally as well. Throw some bleach in, after 4 - 6 hours, and a sprinkling of silver powder; that way, the supernatural tar zombie(s) think twice about coming up the drain.

All the D Classes that Survived from any SCP Instances needs to be given a Promotion as a Task Force
But some are to easy to survive like 999, 5031, 3899, etc... and some are used for lairs cradle and cleaning 173's room.
So the only one's that should be promoted are the one's that are not on death row and have survived multiple dangerous scp instances.

Ok, that agent is definitely getting reprimanded for the unprofessionalism. On top of that, you are to be cold, not cruel, when performing experiments like these. Laughing at the situation like that, knowing all to well the potential dangers in that room, was bordering cruel...plus, again, unprofessional behavior for a researcher.

@@blugaledoh2669 Did she? She never actually got someone to come over to forcibly open that door, and likely only tried to open the door that one time to see if it even could be opened. Her objective was to learn about the SCP, not protect the D-class, but again, her behavior toward the D-class at times were unprofessional.

What weirds me out more is why is the Foundation recruiting researches such as her for the job, or they simply don't care as everything is clandestine.
@@_Killkor I think it was more that she seemed qualified at the time, but like I said, will absolutely get reprimanded afterward when the site directors see how unprofessional she was. Worst case scenario is that she gets demoted to D-class herself, but considering how relatively minor the offense was(given the context of the foundation), I think she's safe from that fate for now.
Also glad to see another is familiar with that horrible experiment. Things like that should be taught in school so that it is never repeated again.

The pain he went through is immense. I have a colony of about 300 or more Dubia roaches, which are a decent size. They don't bite, but they will if you have food on you. I was eating a piece of apple Danish cake, and some of it fell on the floor. So, I broke it up and tossed it in. Since I was there, I was going to take some out for my bearded dragon, which is the reason why I have them.
When I grabbed a few, they started to try and eat the cake residue off my fingers and it felt weird and the SCP researcher in me wanted to see what would happen if I stuck my hand in there so I did... my hand was this dude lol. they swarmed it all over and were nibbling and biting me wherever there was food residue on my hand.
Some weren't big enough to really hurt or anything, but the ones that were hurt. It's a weird kind of hurt. After thinking of how to describe it, I guess it's like being poked with a blunt pin. Not sharp enough to penetrate, but sharp enough to cause pain. I felt that all over, and only a few were able to break the skin. So, knowing that and seeing what damage that dude had, it had to have been excruciating.
I really like the testing introduction! Way cooler than the discovery :))

bro have you never had to jump up in the middle of the night to take a shit? the last thing i want when im already pissed i have to wake up and deal with midnight turds is an ice cold toilet seat thats about to wake me the rest of the way up and ruin the rest of my night. i love the lightly fuzzy seat covers, but them shag carpet seats are a different story, those things will never not smell like piss, ass crack, and vomit....one day heated toilet seats will be more common, until then the fuzzy seat cover stays on.

Awful way to die, or die and get resurrected, depending on what that ending actually hinted to. I loved it because like I knew what was going to happen, as soon as that first cockroach came out, yet it was still so suspenseful and horrifying. It was like "oh no is what I am thinking is going to happen really going to happen?"

If I was working as a D-class and didn't have instructions as that cockroach appeared... I'd avoid stepping on it, as karma seems to be a real thing in this universe, so instead I'd be dancing around to avoid it. Might not save me, but such caution seems warranted in such a world.

@@mariclark2845 They could have at least tried to open the door after it became apparent what was going to happen. How much did the Foundation know about this anomaly before the experiment? Given the agent’s shock, it seems not much, so they can be forgiven for not equipping the D-Class specifically for this outcome, but maybe that should have given him some weapon (though it may not have been much use).

I have severe entomophobia and arachnophobia (fear of insects and arachnids respectively). Everything about bugs gives me anxiety, way more than the average person. If I'm outside and a butterfly even flies my way, I get nervous. I've never seen a roach irl, thank God, but the very thought scares me a lot since they're bigger, more durable, and more disgusting than a lot of bugs I deal with. It's safe to say that this is my worst nightmare 🙃🙃🙃

Longtime viewer here! I wanted to share some love about some content that makes me really happy. Absolutely amazing video, I love how the style of the video is constantly evolving to better fit the stories you’ve created! To me, the greatest aspect of any SCP article or story is hands down, that bizarre, self-aware “eureka!” feeling you get when the article magically clicks in your brain somehow; As if the author themselves just shot some of their unfiltered creative process right into your noggin. A lot of SCP creators struggle replicating that same feeling, either giving too much away too fast, or in an order the author didn’t intend. What I absolutely adore about your content, however, is not only does it still maintain that “eureka!” moment for me, the method of storytelling seems (at least to me) entirely avoidant of anything the author wouldn’t’ve originally intended, while also being stand-alone narratives in their own right. Down to the thumbnails on the video matching more with the video thematically than directly, the method you’ve got to reproduce the feeling of stumbling across an article, reading it, and being both dumbfounded and obsessed is one-of-a-kind. I absolutely adore your content, and wish nothing but the best for you and your team.
My only possible negative would be the lack of dedicated captions on this video, but that’s totally just looking for nits to pick at that point.

The thing about all these "The door doesn't open" things is that, is it completely unbreakable? Like what if they had a bettering ram, or some kind of power-suit, or some sort of explosive, would that also not work? Could we make a building or vehicle out of these doors that is invulnerable to all damage? Like at what point does the 'magic' just stop being enough to stop someone from getting out?
If there is really no way of getting out of these rooms, doors and walls and all, why isn't the SCP foundation not have a top priority to figure out exactly how these rooms are made? They seem PERFECT for containing most anomalies. Also why don't all containment chambers have some kind of airlock, pressurized or not? It wouldn't be fullproof in any way, but it should be the bare minimum... Even I use the porch as one to prevent the cat from slipping outside, how could a the SCP foundation now think of it?
