The COSRX Propolis toner is my holy grail, used year-round! I have dry skin that’s acne-prone and dehydrated and it just checks all of the boxes for me 😊.
@@aunparalleled not sure if you are talking to me or the OP, but i like the Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face and Eye Cream or the Bonajour Green Tea Water Cream (does contain squalane and niacinamide - they do have a peptide water cream i havent tried that is lighter) the morning and the usually the Pkunkang Yul Blue Ato Cream at night or the Cos Rx Ultimate Rice Nourishing Mask followed by the Bonajour GTWC mentioned above. The PKY is pretty thick and i don't use AC, so i typically don't use it if it's hot and humid. Both the Jin Jung Sung and Cos Rx would probably be good for most skin types.
You got me into the Tiam Vita B-5 toner and I’m just head over heels in love with it! I can see how it’s easily overlooked, but wow, I’ve gone through a bottle in no time and will keep buying it because it’s just SO GOOD! Thanks, Kelly! ❤
I don't buy a new product until i've finished my existing one so this is a great video for me to learn about some popular toners! The only one i've tried on this list is the cosrx propolis, which was incredibly hydrating, soothing, and gave a real glow. It's not in my routine atm (felt a little too heavy for summer-i have combination skin and live in a hot, humid climate) but a definite purchase for winter
the haru haru one, cosrx propolis and BOJ one are indeed good toners but after trying so many I settled down on the numbuzin calming toner. For me its just perfect and I hope they dont reformulate or discontinue it ever because it was so hard for me to find one that really suits my skin and I enjoy using every day.
Missha time revolution is still my top pick!! I need to try more. Have the cosrx propolis in my closet now. Just dont like having more than 3 open at a time. My bathroom is SMALL.
Been tried some of this top 10 best selling toners in yesstyle but I always back with make prem safe me relief essence toner. Thanks kelly for introducing me to make prem toner . Love it sooooo much!!❤❤❤❤❤
I tried the cosrx propolis toner and I loved it! I have combo skin but in the winter its felt dull and lifeless (I think it was dehydrated) and it did wonders, but now I don’t use it in the summer cause I live some wear humid. The haru haru wonder one increased the little pumps in my forehead I think its closed comedones but I am not sure. I’ve heard that some peoples skin doesn’t react well with fermented ingredients and maybe that the case cause I didn’t find it in my routine previously
I’ve tried so many toners I always come back to I’m from rice toner just enough moisture and brightens my skin with a nice glow love the rnw ceramide plus after perfect combo🤌
Wait! KELLY! Where did you get that black cat ceramic figurine behind you! I have two of them, but I have had them since I was 15 and I'm 46 now. And I found them randomly at a thrift shop!
I've tried the Anua Heartleaf toner, TirTir Milk Skin, BoJ Ginseng Essence, and Cosrx Propolis toner. Next month I plan on trying out the I'm From Rice Toner 😊 At first I thought that the Anua toner felt like plain water and did nothing for my skin, but with consistent use I noticed it help a bit with redness! The TirTir was so moisturising and calming, BoJ made my skin healthier, and Cosrx was amazing on my acne days. I'm excited to try the rice toner 😁
I have tried all but Tir Tir, and I found the Anua, Round lab, Haru haru and BoJ to watery and not hydrating enough but they were very nice. I prefer the thicker ones, I loved the Cosrx propolis one the best, and also the Hada Labo but prefer the premium whitening version. But when it comes to toners I much prefer milky and creamy toners, like the Dr Ceuracle kombucha and Mary and May toners, and also the Aestura, The Lab and Aestura cream toners. The Purito oat toner and the new BoJ rice toners are two newer ones Im loving for my dry skin
Maybe try the make prem essence toner I mention at the end of the video. It's really hydrating but has the watery texture you need to soak a toner pad. You might also like the Cosrx Propolis toner for some moisture.
I love that Round lab dokdo toner. I used up already 3 bottles and 2 more are in my stash. Thanks to you. It is perfect toner for my oily/combo bit dehydrated skin❤ also the ginseng essence I love.
I totally agree w/ you on the Anua toner, it dehydrates my skin to a point it irritated my skin and I have to stop using it. I would prefer the Dokdo toner waay more, they both has watery texture yet somehow the Dokdo toner is still deeply hydrating for my dry skin! PS. I'm surprised that the Kaine Kombu Balancing Ampoule Toner didn't make it to the list 😅
The Im From, Haru Haru, and Cosrx propolis toners are my favorites. I’ve repurchased all three many times. I found the Round Lab toner underwhelming. I’ll use it up but will not repurchase. I want to try the BoJ and Hado Labo. I’m surprised a kombucha or green tea toner didn’t make the list.
Beauty of Joseon's ginseng essence does nothing for my combo/dry skin. I really wanted to like it because it includes ginseng but multiple layers seem to add no hydration whatsoever. I find the earthy potato-like smell quite offputting also (thankfully it doesn't hang around for long) but will persevere and finish the bottle before finding a replacement toner.
Kelly can you do a comparison between the Anua 70+ rice toner and the I'm from one?. I have read so many reviews about people that broke out with the I'm from
My favourite is JBeauty Naturie Hatomugi (Barley) Skin Conditioner. It’s a basic hydrating toner that just provides hydration nothing more but it absorbs quickly and pair with any actives .
I'm currently working through Peach Slices Snail toner. My favorite is either the Rovectin Lotus toner or the Rovectin Aqua Essence. The propolis toner left me looking VERY shiny like oily shiny. 👎🏻 I'm very curious to try Haru Haru.

But for you, as someone who understands the ingredients and the industry and educates others about it, it could be useful. I just got the Rice toner and so excited to try it out. It is interesting that I actually preferred the scented Haru Haru toner. I had not realized it was scented so I switched and used the rest on my body. But I did not reach for the unscented the way I did before. I like the Round lab for my lighter days when I want a gentle toner. Haba Labo was one of my favorites but was sad when they re-fomulated them without the Alpha Arbutin. This was a great video. Always love going over a group of products. Cheers Bella!
Azelaic acid might be a good start. You can try Cos de Baha 10% azelaic acid it’s about $10? It can help with both. Salicylic acid never worked for me, but azelaic acid did. Vitamin C never worked for me, but azelaic acid did. You might also try a gentle retinoid. Retinoids increase cell turnover, helping keep pores clear and shed hyperpigmented layers. Beauty of Joseon has a very gentle retinal eye serum that can be used for the whole face for about $13. And a gentle cleanser! HaruHaru and Rovectin are good options.
Hi lovely Kelly, great video as always. I’ve been watching your videos non stop this week.. just 1 toner I can’t find your review - Celimax dual barrier creamy toner. Can you pls check it and share your review? Thanks a lot 😊
Well, just to give a different perspective on tirtir milk toner, in my case it absorbs completely, makes my skin plump and dewy (with absolute zero grease) and it is the only product that helps me to get rid of that tightness. And man, i tried almost everything you talk about on this channel, i am no beginner 😂 (my skin is super dehydrated, acne prone, sensitive, with oily t zone)
So far i like the result of kombucha tea essence, I see food result after using in a single night.. I'm blown away by the great result I can't expect to be like this.. i saw my face that little bit tighten, inflamed pimple calm down and also redness significantly reduced .. i noticed that had same smell as olive oil?
Some essential oils have natural antibacterial properties to them, making them excellent for treating acne skin. Tea Tree, Lavender, Eucalyptus and Peppermint are some of these types of oils. Great for the pores & honestly, it’s not strong smelling with the oils. I’m 61, & recently started using the Some by mi Toner, Serum & Cream with NO problems. ❤
Interesting the marketing definitely pointed towards the sugarcane at least the 1-2 years ago when I was looking into it, maybe they have changed their tune. The over all formula still doesn't exfoliate!
I used the dokdo toner as my *only* toner *every day* for about *two months* (I was traveling), and I found it to be “exfoliating” in the way that your skin clears up on a beach vacation 🥰 like my skin was smooth, the texture I can get on my forehead and chin were “buffed” away, I didn’t deal with the normal pore congestion/blackheads that buildup from the irregularities in my routine while traveling. It just kinda.. kept my skin clear? Didn’t help really with existing PIH, or if I didn’t wash my face I’d still wake up with an irritated blemish or two, but it helped calm and clear it up-kinda like a salt water gargle for irritated gums or something 🤷🏽♀️ idk, but I used up the 100 mL in about 2 months and I’ve repurchased 😊

Agreed! It’s not just for fragrance plus, I didn’t find the peppermint oil to be strong in this toner at all! however, I just didn’t like it.
lol i think the some by mi is advertising their ph adjusting citric acid as an aha which is technically not a lie HAHAHAHHA
Omg I hate when they do that, Purito did something similar a few years ago like this ACID is exfoliating... 😒
the dokdo toner is advertised to exfoliate bc of the protease tho.. not the sugarcane
Interesting the marketing definitely pointed towards the sugarcane at least the 1-2 years ago when I was looking into it, maybe they have changed their tune. The over all formula still doesn't exfoliate!

Agreed with you. TIR TIR not for me. Peppermint 👎🏻 essential oils 👎🏻
Tried a lot of these, didn't like any. My favourite remains the TIAM Vita B5 toner 🫶
I will go back to that one when it gets cold for sure
That's such a goodie, definitely deserves more love!
