I designed a cube a little while ago and I didn't realize it's a bar cube! Thanks for giving me the intro to this cube classification; I may have to update my No-Nonsense Travel cube to be a bar cube!
Loved the video! The effort here is really clear And the bar cube might be the first cube I ever build, idk, but the daunting task of making a cube might be easier in this type of environment!
Thank you! Bar Cube is definitely a good place to start. Bar Cubes are usually for 4 people so only 180 cards needed ... versus building a whole 360. Plus, after you build your Bar Cube you can always expand it in the future!

I just found this video and this sounds super cool, especially with all the classics and reprints from Foundations. IDK if the one I brew up will be *100%* Foundations but definitely leaning in that direction atm
This has the exact same message as a video called Primal and the Death of the $100 Board Game. Having nice components is the standard for so many new games, but nothing beats the feeling of raw gameplay. The highlight of my table should be my opponents, not the tray that holds my game pieces
I'm okay with nice/quality components. But I don't want to feel "removed from the game" or have barriers put in place that restrict how/when/where I play my favorite game. Thanks for watching!

I learned to play Magic 27 years ago on the pool table of my uncles favorite bar. We played with the bar staff until the bar opened.
