This video is dedicated to getting my turbo sierra back from the tuner, going over some of its issues and doing some testing for professional purposes. This thing is an absolute monster and we only get about 50% of its potential in this video.

Truck looks and sounds great!! Just a little heads up, when getting on it pull the shifter down to d3. This applies the overrun clutch in the 80e which will help support the load on the sprag prolonging the life and holding power. Looking forward to see more videos of this thing!

@@alecaagaard Yeah keep it in D3 until you're cruising at highway speeds where you want overdrive. Especially during a dig because during that 1-2 shift the sprag needs to stop the direct drum, which is spinning almost the same as engine rpm, and it instantly reverses rotation. It's one of the weak points in a 80e, but applying the overrun clutches helps tremendously

Ac Delco PF61 is the longer filter, if you don't have that one, that's what I run on my truck

Glad you like the videos! I don't get very many interest in the truck, so glad you are enjoying it. What turbo kit did you end up going with? or did you piece your own? yes this is tuned using HP tuners.
@@alecaagaard gt45 eBay turbo, log style manifold with eBay cross over pipe. 28 inch intercooler with 2.5 tubes. eBay waste gate and BOV. It’s going on a 2001 reg cab 5.3 tbss intake btr stage 4 cam 660 valve springs. 706 heads. Built 4l60e with 3000 stall. Awd transfer case and front diff front a Escalade

@@alecaagaard I sent a friend request on Facebook and trying to send u a video of my truck but internet sucks out in the sticks. I’m hoping the btr stage 4 will work fine.
