Im a Blackburn fan. John Eustice says you guys are alot better than we saw today and he expects you to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. I was at the game today and i must say your fans were fantastic coming all that way. They definitely deserved better. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
There's no question Luton are a better side. We just have a manager who believes in a system, rather than getting the best from the players he has. I'm just thankful Blackburn took their foot of the gas and kept it at 2-0. There's no question it could have ended 5-0.
I wholeheartedly agree. Give Pelly a chance. He deserves it and knows what it means to play for our club. Even if he didn't put in the best performance, he'd give 110% for the shirt.
As a Blackburn fan looking from the outside, I'm saddened to see how rough Luton have been having it this season. I'd rather have you swap positions with Burnley. Fair play to the Hatters fans that came to Ewood Park today, the fans were great and deserve better. Best of luck for the rest of the season.
As a Blackburn supporter I know how hard it is to drop a division and bounce back up, especially with the championship. It really is an unforgiving division and the games come relentlessly and never easy.
Blackburn supporter here. Luton are going through what Blackburn went through back in 1999-2000 season. We had just dropped to what was then Division 1 (Championship) and we struggled like mad for the best part of the season which eventually led to sacking Brian Kid, and bringing Souness in. Souness managed to steady the ship but by the time that was done there wasn’t anything to play for. We started badly in 2000-2001 season but then went on a colossal run to finish second behind Kevin Keegan’s Fulham. It may or may not take a sacking for Luton, but a clubs our size have to feel our way back. It often happens that players who have come down a division feel that the clubs they are playing against are beneath them until reality sets in. Unfortunately complacency can often lead to bad form, which in turn can lead to low confidence. I recon Luton will turn a corner eventually, but I’m afraid it’s looking like mid table unless you pull off the run of the century.
It's not just Walsh. Chong was utter drivel again today. I'm sick of Edwards playing 3 at the back and still expecting, after 21 games, it just might work..... Totally agree with you Lewis. It's a shame because Walsh has the talent but is a waste of time. But I don't want Edwards to use this as an excuse and it highlights the shocking players Edwards has brought to the side. I see empty seats at KR and clearly fans are starting to steer clear now until something changes. Edwards must go. He wont change the system, so he needs to go and take the coaching twits with him.
A definition of 'madness is said to be " Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result "??....Edwards is the epitome of this eg his obsession of playing 3 at the back with the players at his disposal rather than a back 4 ?? 😮 keeps picking the very players he criticises for making regular mistakes rather than giving others a chance ?? Its either madness or a deliberate strategy to get the club to sack him so he and his coaching staff can walk away with millions in payoffs for the outstanding 3.5 years on their contracts ??...Talking of madness , what was the logic in giving Edwards and co. 4 year contracts after relegation from the PL??
Plus sticking with 3 central defenders and two wing backs hasn't worked since we won the play offs. We only started playing that formation when we had injuries and alot of central defenders in the squad. Need to go back to four at the back with two defensive midfielders in front of em preferred Pelly & Nakamba if fit! Bell used to be awesum aswell when he played left back as it allowed him to get forward more. Edwards should of gone last January for me !
I dont know what the board are thinking. I was hoping we would lose to Stoke at home,so Edwards could be sacked. As long as he gets the odd result at home the stupid board will keep him on. We need to get rid of Edwards, and his useless crap backroom staff, along with the useless signings we have made this season.Especially Walsh the headcase. If not we are heading to league 1. Im hoping Derby beat us on Friday. Then Edwards can resign.
Walsh is the panto villain- who signed him who picks him. Ranting about him to this level is letting RE off the hook and implies we think if he’d stayed on we would have got something from the game - no chance
Strong words, but fair. I think if you can get the best out of Walsh, then great but two reds... could be costly. Could Luton had come back from 2-0 down, hard to see even with 11 men on pitch till final whistle. But could have nicked one back, after a good 2nd half performance. Clark really good at times today- my man of the match.
Not sure what is worse Walsh who has mad moments or Morris a striker who had one shot in 3 games - Morris trying to be a Captain is distracting him from being a Striker. Make Holmes or Mcguiness the Captain. We dont want a bully as a Captain!!
@peterscott234 Fair point. I think Holmes is a potential future captain. Morris, doesn't score enough but can't fault his work rate or passion for the club. I would give Walsh one last chance before end of season. He's a free transfer so just his wages really. I don't know what the deal is, he might have a 2-year contract with protection built in. But I assume if he keeps picking up straight Reds, then there's a case for dismissal with minimum compensation from the club.
i really dont know what edwards is doing with some players and hows hes treating players like pelly and taylor. i really dont know why hes forgotten all about pelly when hes the most loved player at luton and hs done so much in the last few years and edwards has just thrown him away
for a player that is very prone to injury, and just back from injury, to make brainless reckless tackle like that boggles the mind, are the coaching staff telling him to get stuck in, i dont get it. and i agree not playing pele, is a disgrace , i am going to say this. rob is not as nice as you think when cold shoulders players like pele. and bringing on taylor at 86 mins. is a joke. january might make a difference but will it be enough. battle of survival i think.
Yeah completely agree, when Luton were last winning games. Pelly and Nakamba were running the central midfield! Now neither of em can get a game. I understand Kraus starting he looks good, but Clark is an attacking midfielder who is playing to deep for me!
For all the good theyve done..... which is huge. 2020 really have dropped the ball last 12 months. Ridiculous signings in January and the summer and a 4 year contract for a manager who had already ran out of ideas.
One of your best pods, Lewis. The board haven't the balls to sack Edwards. He has destroyed single handedly our defensive pedigree. His judgement on signings has been woeful. His team formations have been laughable - at least for the opposition. And his team management including the treatment of Pelly has been utterly disrespectful. He is so out of touch he plays Walsh knowing his temperament and knowing he was lucky not to be sent off a few games ago and got away with it. PLEASE do not waste a transfer window on this man!
If some of our 'defenders' put half the amount of effort as Walsh did trying to win the ball, we'd not be up there as amongst the worst defensive team in the league. Looking for scapegoats, we no longer have the calibre of defenders and midfielders throwing their bodies on the line, Potts, Berry, Lonkonga, Lockyer. Statue defending.
Luton needs a leader. Someone that is sure of themselves and takes charge. Rob needs to go. Im no longer interested in Lutons performances while hes in charge. Theres no consistency.
Soft spot for Luton as a Rovers fan - got to big up the underdogs. However, something is massively wrong with you lot right now. To be honest, we didn't really even step into top gear. We managed the game from start to finish and I never felt the result was in doubt. As the blog dude alluded to, if we wanted to, we could have gone for a bigger score. Our manager is more pragmatic than that and basically used the second half to lessen the workload for our players over a stupidly busy January with 8 matches in a month. You'll be fine but I doubt you'll push for playoffs. As for us, we always start well and drop away after Christmas, so expect the same. We'll probably end up in similar positions in the table.
In two years Edwards has changed a team that the opposition would expect a tough game against, to a bunch of individuals, throwing tantrums…. this comes from the manager….he has to go, and take his shit signings with him….🧡🧡🎩🎩
I agree we should give Pelly a go , as he will put in a 100% and lets see what happens? On to Walsh😡 i said in one of your previous videos that he is a liability and he has proven it again.I dont want to see him playing for us ever .Just to add to our woes we now have the most red cards in the league 😤 Both goals came from players that are on loan from premier clubs, wouldn't it be wise for us to bring in a couple come January. The stats were fairly even but of course the difference being they took their chances.Hopefully we get a win against Derby .COYH 👍🎩

Lewis you’ve got to stop this obsession with Pelly. He’s not going to make an😢impact if he comes off the bench and nearly cost 🎉 us two points at Millwall. Walsh should be shown the door along with Tom Holmes
It’s not an obsession, it’s a fact we’ve had great moments with him. Why do others start over him when they’re underperforming? Pelly hasn’t had a run in the team. Until then I’ll keep banging the drum.
The first goal is shocking defending. So is the second. Chong may not be a natural wingback, but you have to be in position. He is never where he needs to be. If he was brilliant as an attacker, I'd give him some slack, but he's far too lightweight. He gets eased of the ball far too easily. He's a headless chicken. We can't mark. We can't tackle. As for Walsh. I don't want him to play for us ever again. It was a shocking tackle. Sent of twice, and he's hardly played for us. He's got to go. Our midfield isn't good enough. Not ITK but can only assume we would need to pay up all of RE 3.5 year contract if sacked - circa 7 million. The club are clearly reluctant to do this as there is no good reason for him to stay now.
Why cant the Board wake up and smell the coffee! We can all see on a week by week basis, the demise of our great club, get rid of Edwards and stop the rut Sweet or we will be back in the Conference before too long ! Get him out!

I'm sick to the back teeth of saying the same stuff week after week. I'm sure you are too Lewis! Quite frankly, we aren't going to be turning a corner under Edwards. He's had long enough and we're over halfway in the season. I can't even listen to his post match interviews anymore "we will work hard to put it right for next week" - it's never put right! 2020 have got to pull the trigger now - RE and his circus of clowns have got to go, along with the recruitment team as well. A huge Jan clear out is desperately needed. And like i've said several times before, we need a football director at this club
"We're a shadow of what we used to be." Perfect summary of LTFC this season. "A complete reset is needed". Exactly. Everyone can see it except the Board. Meanwhile relegation battle continues 😢
He's a disgrace lewis how many times have I said it on here we need a manager that can adapt Edwards is a 1 trick pony ! Question is have the board got the balls to sack him ? They need to let their head rule their hearts !
Hi Lewis, I will have a Bet with you that Walsh plays another game Before the end of the season 🤔 Winner to get a Guinness & a Cheeseburger 😂. Up the Hatters 😎🎩🍀
It was a clumsy tackle not a red card. He miss read the speed of the game. Should of been yellow at best. Blackburn showed nothing for the first 30 mins neither did we. In fact it was boring no midfield had any control. Then they get am opportunist goal. A typical strikers goal in between the legs of the defenders. Did not see how that winger got free for the second goal but looks like we were sleeping.
I feel for Hashioka. He plays well in his proper position but RE is playing him central again. Maybe his thinking is that any blame will be directed at Hashi and hence deflect any responsibility from his own deficiencies. Hashi's being fed to the lions.
Its easy to try and make someone a scapegoat. Our problems started when Morris was made Captain many months ago. I thought his treatment of Walsh today was disgusting - no TRUE Captain shoves a fellow team mate off the pitch no matter what mistakes he has made - he should put his arm around him, console him and not shove him off the pitch - Walsh was unlucky - it was a clumsy tackle but the ref let the crowd make the decision for him. As I have said before, Trollope and Kyle are useless and, RE made a big mistake bringing them to the club - they should be sacked. Pelly is getting older and slower and RE sees him in training everyday and he also tends to give the ball away far to easily - what he has done in the past is totally irrelevant to this season who would he replace? he is not up to the level of Krauss or Clark. Jordan Clark has been the best player on the pitch for the last few games and probably all season so far his stats are very good and he can play a 3 game week. JJ did well when he came on - the overall performance was better. Stats wise we had a similar performance to Blackburn.
I disagree with you about Carlton. Walsh was a disgrace today, as he was against Oxford. He should have been getting off that pitch as fast as he could, his attitude spoke volumes as he slowly trudged off, and Carlton had every right to tell him in no uncertain words to get packing. Regarding Carlton's status as Captain of LTFC, thank god he's here. When the captaincy became vacant after Tom's health issues, there was frankly not another leader at the club capable of having the strength to lead by example, with some apology to Jordan Clark. He may not be everyone's ideal, but his determination and consistent desire to win makes him a sure fire Captain to me, and the antithesis of someone like Liam Walsh.
I agree about Walsh, but I have been saying for 6 weeks now , Edwards has got to go all this well he took us to the premiership, which is utter rubbish, it was 80% Nathan Jones team.
Im a Blackburn fan. John Eustice says you guys are alot better than we saw today and he expects you to be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. I never want to see Liam Walsh in a Luton shirt again
As a rovers fan . Its shocking to see what's going on at Luton
Most painful season in recent history. Club going nowhere.
Come on Lewis, should be slagging off edwards, walsh was at least trying.
We have bigger problems than Walsh, unfortunately.
Great reports Lewis. Terrible to see what has happened to the Luton we all love.
As a Blackburn supporter I know how hard it is to drop a division and bounce back up, especially with the championship. It really is an unforgiving division and the games come relentlessly and never easy.

Brum fan here, glad we got rid of Chong
It remains what it was from the first game of the season against Burnley...a shambles
As a Swansea fan, it was frustrating when Walsh was at my club because he watches more Liverpool matches in Anfield than playing football.
😂
I forecast 2-0 to Blackburn and had £3 on it at 9/1. Sorry, your 0-0 was way too optimistic , Lewis.

Walsh is terrible in my manager game, and he's just as terrible in an actual game.

Not ITK but can only assume we would need to pay up all of RE 3.5 year contract if sacked - circa 7 million. The club are clearly reluctant to do this as there is no good reason for him to stay now.
That would work out to be 40k a week which I don’t think he’s earning.
Worst ever signing in football history. I'll start:
Liam Walsh
Richard Money LOL
Unfortunately Edwards will get a transfer window.
Why cant the Board wake up and smell the coffee! We can all see on a week by week basis, the demise of our great club, get rid of Edwards and stop the rut Sweet or we will be back in the Conference before too long !
Get him out!

"We're a shadow of what we used to be."
Perfect summary of LTFC this season.
"A complete reset is needed". Exactly. Everyone can see it except the Board.
Meanwhile relegation battle continues 😢
As well as kicking RE into touch I believe the board could do with a reshuffle too. Their shortcomings at this level are now sadly manifesting!
...And I backed Blackburn at 50/1 each-way for the top 3 pre-season. Good manager, John Eustace.Criminally under -appreciated at Birmingham.
Fair play. Would’ve been good odds at the start when they had off the field issues
How do you have each way top 3? Either top 3 finish or not a top 3 finish??
I have them at 100-1 so there!
That wasn't a very good bet, even now they have roughly a 0.3% chance of winning and 8% chance of top 3.

Definitely a red, could’ve easily been a leg breaker or ligament damage
A clumsy tackle??? Really? What were you watching?.....that was a horrible tackle and there was no need. Walsh had every intention to hurt the player
That was a definite red, horrendous challenge
What game where you watching?? Not a red? Clearly don't understand the game mate that was career ending
Pelly is the worst player in the squad
he may not be a good player but at least he does not see red
Maybe skill wise, but it's Pelly Stronger and a better tackler than pretty much the rest of entire squad !
Walsh, haridhoki or whatever his name is and Mcguiness should go never should wear the shirt again edwards go away too
I feel for Hashioka.
