I just ordered one of this 10500 fin-nor ofs reel from Amazon for $130 shipped 🚢
I will use it with my new Lurekiller GT POPPING ROD For casting large popper and stick bait lures up to 150g to catch Large GT here in Hawaii. I will spool it with 100lb of 9 strand braided line. Hopefully it's not too heavy for casting all day. It weighs 39.9g which is 2 1/2 pounds. I caught a 30lb bluefin GT 3 weeks ago with my Penn Spinfisher 950ssm spooled with 12 strand 77lbs braided line and 250lb 8 strand braided line for the leader. Used a red head with white body HALCO GIANT TREMBLER lure. It got caught on the rocks a couple of times and I had to lock the drag and pull the lure out. The GT was there at the right time when the lure was about to come out of the water in front of me then it striked the lure and I pulled it out of the water and the rod tip snapped above a boulder next to the water. I still got the GT and ate it. Made fish soup.

ja mam 9500 a dala sa mi tam na 118 kg berkley 178 metru ale to je dost hruba snura na trhacku mi to staci
