It's good to see how well Mexico embraced Halffter. I don't know if Ernesto is better known, but Rodolfo seems quite equal to him in talent. But their music has much similarity, which is interesting. Is it training or genetics?

Great music. It's sad he turned to twelve-tone writing, ala Stravinsky. Better to have simply stopped.
