I used to occasionally stay at a resort in Palm Desert for the hot springs, 4 years ago it was 600/ month, now it is 1000/month. No more resorts for me.

You can thank the state of California for the increase in everything. They have several taxes related to RV Parks. We don’t even travel thru California anymore. Sad

I think a big reason is the lack of housing, and high home rents have filled the RV parks with many more permanent residents, leaving fewer spots for transient traveling RVers. So they can raise the prices.

I just purchased a new 200 watt renogy solar suitcase. It came with no controller! I should have read the description more carefully before purchasing!
Anyway, I noticed your panels, and I am curious how you connected them to a controller?

I added a feed through point under my fifth wheel overhang using a marine clam shell connection and up to the pin box. I used an old 30 amp power cord to make it simple. On the end is a 90 amp XT connector and made up about a 15 foot cord with a XT connector to MC4 connectors to mate with the panel. Inside the front storage is are my batteries and I have a couple solar charge controllers. The panels use one of them. This video is from years ago and lots has changed and modded but shows the basic arrangement I started with. th-cam.com/video/3YAnLqRufqg/w-d-xo.html
