Therefore, the second child is less of a miracle. By then it is old hat . . . or even "not again!!!" because by then they are tired of sleepless nights and changing of nappies, etc. Being a second child means that s/he needs to stand his/her ground, know that s/he is just as smart, good, pretty, etc. and take pride in him/herself (except that when one is so young, one does not know how to take this route.) However, once s/he takes up this attitude, all things are possible. Remember that sometimes not having the spotlight allows you much more freedom. Do NOT let envy or jealousy get the best of you. Be strong -- for yourself.

I really enjoyed this video. I loved seeing older footage again. It made me happy and sad. Happy for beautiful times in this family and sad for whats been lost. I had my babies in the 70s. What I love is that Catherine without trying to let the world know just how dangerous morning sickness can be. I suffered from it so bad I'm surprised my child was born normal. I did not know how unhealthy it was that I was throwing up every day for months. What was happening is my body and the baby's body was not getting any nutrients. And when it's your third child and you have a 1 and a 3-year-old to take care of it's even worse. You know nobody thought of it as a problem it was like oh yeah morning sickness that sucks. But it can be very serious and I'm so happy that because of this people are more aware of the dangers. Yep thinking back on it I'm amazed I actually lived through those first four or five months. Morning sickness just does not seem a strong enough word. It is the kind of nausea like no other kind of nausea you will experience. There's not a word in our language to describe how horrible it is

I think it was big mistake on King Charles part thinking the slim down the monarchy. He actually needs to have the younger royals around him. Watching the royal family come out of the church this Christmas sing kind of sad with so few people there. Same thing happened when my mom died. That's another thing that irks me about Harry and his constant complaints about how he was a victim and how he was treated. The lesson that Harry needs to learn is that there ARE benefits of NOT being the heir to the throne. First of all, there isn't the pressure and humongous responsibility of being the King/Queen. He has the FREEDOM ! William did not have the freedom. If he thinks that all eyes are on himself (Harry), a prince, how much more eyes are on William, the future KING ? If Harry objects to all the light that is now on him and whomever he is with, it is definitely 10 times more than that when you are king or heir to the throne. Did Harry actually chose a partner who is worthy of being a queen who has 97% acceptance by your subjects? IF, as many people have pointed out that -- he is not the sharpest pencil, is HE really the best person for the kingship? A person should be wise enough to know himself well enough to realize his own qualifications/weaknesses, etc. But it looks like he is blind to this aspect of himself and yet he has his eye on the top dog position. Is that being realistic?

So, the Monarchy is Funded by the Dutchies of Lancaster and Cornwall. Which are Private Estates owned by the King and the Prince of Wales. The Dutchy of Lancaster gives 90% of that income to the Crown/Government. The people pay nothing. If the Monarchy were abolished tomorrow those Estates and their Income would become the Private Property of the Monarch.
