the cow herders making cheese probably ate the calfs as food because also they need rennett to make cheese which comes from the baby cows stomach lining. cheese is sad...merging the mothers milk with the baby calfs stomach lining and the farmer eating the baby cow and eventually the mother cow. this is why I am vegan.
